استهدفت الدراسة الحالية التعرف على الخصائص الشخصية للمعاقين سمعياً وبصرياً وعقلياً من وجهة نظر طلبة جامعة اربد الأهلية، وأثر نوع التخصص على اختيار الخصائص الشخصية للأشخاص غير العاديين، وقد اشتمات الدراسة على (250) طالباً وطالبة من كلية العلوم التربوية وكليات أخرى، وقد تم بناء قائمة من الخصائص الشخصية اشتمات على واحد وستون خاصية، وأظهرت النتائج أن الخصائص التي تميز بها المعاقين سمعياً كانت الحساسية الزائدة، والشعور بالنقص والدونية، الهدوء، قصور الجانب اللغوي، الاكتئاب والحزن، أما خصائص المعاقين بصرياً فهى الاعتماد على الآخرين، والحساسية الزائدة، والشعور بالنقص والدونية، والاكتئاب والحزن، والطموح والهدوء والقلق، وفيما يتعلق بخصائص المعاقين عقلياً فقد كانت انخفاض الذكاء، الغباء والسذاجة، والعدوانية، والفوضى وعدم الانتظام، التأخر في أداء المهمات والاعتماد على الآخرين. أما فيما يتعلق بأثر التخصص على اختيار الخصائص الشخصية للأشخاص غير العاديين كانت الفروق لصالح طلبة كلية العلوم التربوية، كما تبين وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين طلبة كلية التمريض وطلبة كلية العبوم الإدارية حيث أبدى طلبة كلية التمريض مستوى أعلى من المعرفة في خصائص الطلبة ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.
The Current study amied to recognize on the personal characteristics of hearing, Blind and mentel impaired persons from the point of view of the students of Irbid National University, and the impact of the Kind of specialty on selscting the personal characteristics of the abnormal persons. The study included on (250) male and female students from The Faculty of Educational Science and other faculties, and it is established a list of personal characteristics included on sixty one (61) characteristics. The results showed that the characteristics, which disyinguished the hearing impaired persons wear the superfluous sensibility, feeling with deficiency, inferiority, stillness or calmness, linguistic shortage or insufficiency, depression and sadness. The characteristics of blind impaired persons were the dependency on others, excessive sensibility, feeling with insufficiency and inferiority, depression and sadness, ambition, calmmess. And anxiety. Concerning to the characteristics of mental retarded persons were low intelligence, stupidity and naivety, aggression, confusion and disorder, late in accomplishing tasks and duties, and dependency on others. Concerning the impact of the specialty on the selection of personal characteristic of abnormal persons, the Differences were for the advantage of Educational Science Faculty's students, also it had indicated differnces statistical index existed among the students of Nursing College and the students of Administrative Science Faculty's students, whereas the students of Nursing College exhibited higher level of knowledge in the characteristics of special needs' students.
