هدفت المقالة إلى الكشف عن التربية على المواطنة للطفل العربي. من خلال مناقشة العلاقة بين مفهوم المواطنة والمواطنية. وشروط التربية المواطنية. وعلاقة ذلك بديمقراطية النظام التعليمي. ومن ثم بديمقراطية النظام السياسي بصورة أكبر وأوسع. وذلك لأن نظم التعليم المعاصرة في بلدان العالم شماله وجنوبه وشرقه وغربه وأغنيائه وفقرائه تنشغل بالتربية على المواطنة أو المواطنية. وكيف تكون تلك التربية في المناهج وفي كل المراحل التعليمية. وأظهرت المقالة أن قيم المواطنة ليست فقط في الدروس النظرية أو المحاضرات أو تلقين الطلاب لعناصرها وأهميتها. ولكن هذه القيم تبدأ من الإيمان بها والممارسة لها على أرض الواقع. ويتطلب ذلك أن تؤهل المؤسسة التعليمية بجميع مكوناتها البشرية والمادية للإيمان بقيم المواطنة. واختتمت المقالة بان تربية الأطفال على المواطنة ليست أمرا سهلا. من خلال تأليف كتاب أو دروس تلقى على الأطفال والطلاب داخل الفصل. ولكنها تستلزم تأهيل وتدريب الممارسين التربويين داخل المؤسسات التربوية على قيم ومبدأ المواطنة. وهذا التدريب والتأهيل لا يمكن أن يكون نظريا بل لابد من ممارستها فعليا يوميا. وأكدت على دور المدرسة كحاضنة للمواطنة وتربية الطفل عليها. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The article aimed to reveal the citizenship education for the Arab child by discussing the relationship between the concept of citizenship and nationality, the conditions of the nationality education, its relationship to the educational system democracy, and thus the democratization of the political system more broadly. This is because the modern education systems in the countries of the world, its North and South, East and West, and its rich and poor, become involved in raising the citizenship or nationality education, and how that education is in the curricula and in all educational stages. The article showed that the values of citizenship are not only in the theoretical lessons or lectures or in teaching students the elements and importance, but these values begin with faith in them and practice them on the ground. This requires that the educational institution be qualified with all its human and material components to believe in the values of the citizenship. The article concludes that raising children on the citizenship is not easy, by writing a book or lessons received on children and students in the classroom, but requires the rehabilitation and training of the educational practitioners within the educational institutions on the values and principle of the citizenship. This training and rehabilitation cannot be theoretical, but must be exercised daily.
