استهدفت الدراسة الكشف عن دور الآباء في إعداد الأطفال للمواطنة. وأشارت الدراسة إلى أن مفهوم المواطنة يعني لدى اليونانيين القدماء إمكانية المشاركة في الشأن العام للجماعة الإنسانية في المجتمع وبناء مؤسساتها السياسية عليه. وركز المفهوم الحديث للمواطنة الديمقراطية على كونها مفهوما مركبا يتضمن أبعادا كثيرة من أهمها المساواة الكاملة أمام القانون وباعتبارها نظاما من الحقوق والواجبات. وتضمنت الدراسة عدة محاور. أولا معني المواطنة. ثانيا أبعاد المواطنة وتشمل المساواة الكاملة. ونظام من الحقوق والواجبات. والتعايش المشترك بين المواطنين. والمشاركة في تنظيم شئون الوطن. ثالثا حقوق المواطنة وواجباتها. رابعا دور الآباء في إعداد الأبناء للمواطنة. وأوضحت أن إعداد الأبناء لفهم المواطنة وحقوقها وواجباتها يتضمن قيام الأهل بأربع مهام رئيسة. هي تدريب الأبناء على سلوك المساواة. وتعليم الأبناء نظام الحقوق والواجبات في المجتمع المصري. وتدريب الأبناء على أساليب التعايش المشترك مع الأخرين. وأخيرا تشجيع الأبناء على المشاركة. واختتمت الدراسة باستعراض بعض الاعتبارات والمبادئ العامة وأساليب التنشئة التي من شأنها تعزيز قيم المواطنة لدى الأطفال والنشء. وعرضها في محورين هما مبادئ تعزيز قيم المواطنة. وطرق تربية الطفل ومنها اللعب والممارسة والتقليد.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The study aimed at revealing the role of parents in preparing children for citizenship. The study pointed out that the concept of citizenship –as for Greeks- means the possibility of participating in the public affairs of the humanitarian community in the community and in building the political institutions on this concept. The modern concept of democratic citizenship has emphasized that it is a complex concept that includes many dimensions, for example, the full equality before the law considering it as a system of rights and duties. The study included several axes. The first axis dealt with citizenship. The second axis tackled the dimensions of citizenship including full equality, a system of rights and duties, coexistence among citizens and the participation in the organization of national affairs. The third axis addressed citizenship rights and duties. The fourth axis discussed the role of parents in preparing children for citizenship. The study explained that the upbringing of children to understand citizenship and its rights and duties oblige parents have to do four major tasks. This means training children on obtaining equality behavior, teaching them the concepts of rights and duties in Egyptian society and training them on ways of coexistence with others. Eventually, it recommended encouraging children to participate. The study was concluded with a review of some general considerations, principles and methods of upbringing that would promote the values of citizenship in children and young people. It presented these ways in two axes which are the principles of promoting the values of citizenship and ways of raising the child, including playing, practicing and imitation.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
