المستخلص: This research aimed to identify the strong and weak points in the University of Jordan role in developing their students’ creativity and to reveal the opportunities and possible threats. A random sample consisted of 240 faculty members from the University of Jordan was chosen. To achieve the study’s objectives, the Descriptive Approach and SWOT analysis were used, and the most significant results were as follows: 1. The role of the faculty member has strong points as guiding researchers students towards the new fields in the specialization and helping them to master the educational content. The most significant strong point of the academic curricula was the university’s real attitudes towards developing the curricula while the most significant points of strength of the academic library were represented by the availability of the necessary resources and references to the researchers and the students. 2. The role of the faculty member has many weak points as his weak ability to design the educational content electronically whereas the most significant point of weakness of the academic curricula was its lack of flexibility and the most significant weak points of the academic library was the absence of exhibitions and forums that introduced the library’s content. 3. There were possible opportunities to the role of the faculty member represented by lack of participation in the international conferences. 4. There were possible threats to the role of the faculty member represented by inappropriate number of faculty member to the university students’ number and the possible threats to the curricula role were represented by lack of curricula designed purposefully for electronic education while the absence of the qualified human factor technologically was one of the possible threats to the university library. In light of the results, the research recommended the following: 1. Necessity to hold varied training courses to the academic staff 2. Necessity to establish a specialized center to develop university curriculum and transfer it into electronic one. 3. Necessity to increase financial resources of the educational system.

هدف البحث إلى رصد نقاط القوة والضعف في دور الجامعة الأردنية في تنمية الإبداع لدى الطلبة، والكشف عن الفرص والتهديدات المحتملة، حيث اختيرت عينة عشوائية بلغ عددها (240) عضوا من أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعة الأردنية. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي، بالإضافة إلى أسلوب سوات (SWOT) للتحليل الرباعي، حيث أظهرت أبرز نتائج البحث ما يلي: • وجود جوانب قوة لدور عضو هيئة التدريس، كتوجيه الطلبة الباحثين إلى المجالات الجديدة في التخصص، وتمكنه من محتوى المادة التعليمية، وتمثلت أبرز جوانب القوة في دور المنهاج الجامعي في وجود توجهات حقيقية لدى الجامعة الأردنية نحو تطوير المناهج، وتمثلت أبرز جوانب القوة لدى المكتبة الجامعية في توفر المقتنيات والمصادر الضرورية لروادها من الباحثين والطلبة. • وجود جوانب ضعف لدور عضو هيئة التدريس، كضعف مقدرته على تصميم المواد التعليمية إلكترونيا، وتمثلت أبرز جوانب الضعف لدور المنهاج الجامعي في جموده، كذلك تمثلت أبرز جوانب الضعف لدى المكتبة الجامعية في غياب المعارض والندوات للتعريف بمحتويات المكتبة. •وجود فرص محتملة لدور عضو هيئة التدريس تمثلت في قلة مشاركة عضو هيئة التدريس في المؤتمرات الدولية. •وجود تهديدات محتملة لدور عضو هيئة التدريس، تمثلت في عدم تناسب عدد أعضاء هيئة التدريس مع عدد الطلبة في الجامعة، وتمثلت التهديدات المحتملة لدور المنهاج الجامعي في قلة توفير مناهج مصممة خصيصا للتعليم الإلكتروني، وأشارت إلى غياب العنصر البشري المؤهل مكتبيا وتكنولوجيا لدى المكتبة الجامعية. في ضوء النتائج، أوصى البحث بما يلي: •ضرورة إجراء دورات تدريبية متنوعة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس. •ضرورة إنشاء مركز متخصص لتطوير المنهاج الجامعي وتحويلها إلى مناهج إلكترونية. •ضرورة زيادة الموارد المالية للمنظومة التعليمية كافة.
