المستخلص: The Islamic Jurisprudence [fiqh] and Muslim jurists are concerned with researching, studying and deducting the rulings that befit every new issue Muslims encounter in their lives at all times. This research presents the importance of medications and seeking treatment as commanded by Islam through discussing the rulings of Shari'ah pertaining to the advancement of pharmaceutical industry. Muslims encounter difficulties and problems when seeking treatment at some point in their lives for some kinds of medications are manufactured from impure substances that are prohibited for human consumption in Islam. Jurists deduct the rulings relating to this issue based on meticulous study of the primary texts and thorough understanding of the fact of the time. The research consists of an introduction, part one, part two and conclusion.
