هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن إدارة المعرفة في بيئة المعلومات في مكتبات جامعة الملك عبد العزيز وجامعة الملك عبد الله للعلوم والتقنية. واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي. وتكونت مجموعة البحث من جميع الموظفين العاملين في جميع المكتبات التابعة لعمادة المكتبات في الفرع الرئيسي لجامعة الملك عبد العزيز ومكتبات جامعة الملك عبد الله للعلوم والتقنية. وتمثلت أدوات البحث في المسح الميداني للإنتاج الفكرى الخاص بإدارة المعرفة عن طريق البحث الآلي من خلال الإنترنت واستخدام فهارس المكتبات ووقائع المؤتمرات والندوات العلمية التي تعقد داخل المملكة السعودية وخارجها. والاستبانة لمعرفة آراء مجموعة البحث واتجاهاتهم حول مفاهيم وأساسيات إدارة المعرفة في مواقع عملهم. وتوصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها تحصلت الفئة العمرية ما بين (13-40) سنة و(41-50) سنة على أعلي نسبة لمؤهل البكالوريوس (79%). وتفاوتت النسبة بين الذكور والإناث لمتغير الجنس حيث بلغت (67.1%) للإناث مقابل (32.9%) للذكور. وتقاربت النسبة بشكل كبير للمتخصصين في مجال المكتبات والمعلومات (47.6%) والتخصصات الأخرى (52.4%). كما سجلت النتائج ممارسة عالية لإدارة المعرفة ولو أنها متفاوتة بين عالية جدا وعالية ومنخفضة. ولم تسجل إلا نسباً متدنية جداً لإجابة منخفضة جدا ومنعدمة. وكشفت النتائج أن أهم متطلبات إدارة المعرفة هي برامج تدريب مناسبة لتطوير مهارات الموظفين. وقدم البحث عدة توصيات منها ضرورة إعداد ورش عمل ودورات تدريبة للموظفين على مختلف تخصصاتهم لإكسابهم مزيدا من الخبرات والمهارات التي تساعدهم على أداء مهامهم بكل كفاءة واقتدار. وأعداد استراتيجيات مفصلة لنقل مرافق المعلومات وفي مقدمتها المكتبات الجامعية إلى مجتمع معرفي. والعمل على إنشاء برامج وخطط لتدوير الوظائف داخل مرافق المعلومات بقصد تبادل الخبرات والمعارف خاصة المتعلق منها بالمعارف الضمنية التي تعد من أهم الصفات في إدارة المعرفة. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The aim of the research is to reveal knowledge management in the information environment in the libraries of King Abdul Aziz University and the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. The research used the descriptive approach. The research group consisted of all staff who works in all the libraries of the Deanship of the Libraries in the main branch of the King Abdul Aziz University and KAUST Libraries for science and technology. The research tools represented in the field survey of the intellectual production of knowledge management through automated search through the Internet and the use of the library catalogs and the proceedings of conferences and the scientific seminars held in Saudi Arabia and abroad, and to identify the views and the attitudes of the research group on the concepts and the basics of knowledge management at their work sites. The study found that the age group between (13-40) years and (41-50) years achieved the highest percentage of bachelor's degree (79%). The ratio of males and females differed due to gender variable which reach 67.1% for females versus 32.9% for males. The percentage of the specialists was very similar in the field of libraries and information (47.6%) and other disciplines (52.4%). The results also recorded a high practice of knowledge management even though they varied between very high, high and low, and only very low rates were recorded for "very low" and "none" responses. The results revealed that the most important knowledge management requirements are the appropriate training programs in order to develop the skills of the staff. The research presented several recommendations, including the need to prepare the workshops and the training courses for the staff in various disciplines to provide them with more expertise and skills that help them to perform their tasks efficiently and competently, and to develop the detailed strategies for the transfer of information facilities, particularly the university libraries, to a knowledge society, and work on the establishment of the programs and the plans for the rotation of the functions within the information facilities , intending to exchange the experiences and the knowledge, especially those related to the implicit knowledge, which is one of the most important qualities in the knowledge management..This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
