Abstract: تتناول هذه الدراسة موضوع الكفايات، التي يكتسبها الخريج من برنامج علوم المعلومات والمكتبات بكلية التربية الأساسية على ضوء التطور المتسارع في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات، ومدى تلبية البرنامج لاحتياجات سوق العمل، من خلال تحليل وتقويم الكفايات في الخطط الدراسية العربية والعالمية على مستوى البكالوريوس، والتعرف إلى مجالات العمل المتاحة للخريجين في مختلف قطاعات الدولة في الكويت، ذات الصلة بتخصص المعلومات والمكتبات لتحديد المهارات والكفايات التخصصية المطلوبة لخريجي قسم المعلومات والمكتبات.

This study deals with the subject of competencies acquired by the graduate of the Information Science and Library Program at the Faculty of Basic Education in light of the rapid development in the field of information technology, and the extent to which the program meets the needs of the labor market, through analysis and evaluation of competencies in Arab and international study plans at the baccalaureate level, to Identify the fields of work available to graduates in various sectors of the State in Kuwait, related to the specialization of information and libraries to determine the specialized skills and competencies required for the graduates of the Information and Library Department.
