إن القرآن الكريم كتاب الله تعالى وكلامه ودستور الامة، وقد حضي بالاهتمام به من اول وهلة نزوله الى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم والى عصرنا الحاضر، ولم يحظ أي كتاب عبر التاريخ بما حظي به القرآن الكريم من العناية الفائقة تلاوة وحفظا وتفسيرا حيث عرفت المسيرة التاريخية، للتفسير مستجدات أسفرت عن انبعاثه من جديد على يد العلماء في العصر الحديث، كما برزت عدة مناهج معاصرة للتفسير، وقراءات جديدة، "وظهرت بالمقابل دعوات تدثرت باسم التجديد تارة والمعاصرة تارة اخرى، وخرجت لنا باتجاهات اخرى مغايرة، ووجه اصحابها اسهامهم للنصوص وجردوها عن معانيها الاصلية واحكامها؛ بحجة التجديد والتطوير، ومواكبه تغيرات العصر، ومسايرة الحوادث، وحاجات الناس فانبعثت افكار واراء خطيرة خارجة عن جادة الصواب وعن الحق سكتت ولقد تصدى لهؤلاء من تصدى للرد على آرائهم وأفكارهم، وبيان ظلالها، وكشف سقمها، فأجادوا وأفادوا، إلا أن توجيه الجهود للرد والدفع لا تكفي؛ إذ لابد من بيان المنهج السليم في التجديد في التفسير، وتوضيح ضوابطه، وبيان مفهومه، حتى يكون التجديد قصرا على المناهج السليمة، والاتجاهات الصحيحة؛ وإن لفظ التجديد. واستغلها واعتمد عليها الكثيرون من الجاهلين، ممن لا علم لهم، ودعت أنفسهم الى التلاعب بالدين أو من الذين اردوا تشويه الدين والاسلام، والطعن به ممن لا اخلاق لهم، ولهذا يعد التجديد من أكثر الموضوعات التي تحتاج إلى ضوابط يستفيد منها العلماء العاملين لوجه الله تعالى الذين يرومون تقريب العلوم بشكل عام والتفسير بشكل خاص بطريقة عصرية تجديدية، وتمنع الجهال والطاعنين على العلوم من المستشرقين والعلمانيين، وغيرهم في تجرئهم على القرآن والطعن به وهذه الضوابط تمنع المتطفلين منهم في القول بكتاب الله بما لا علم لهم به، ومن هنا جاءت فكره البحث تحت عنوان (ضوابط التجديد في التفسير المعاصر) وقد قسمت بحثي على مبحثين ومطالب عدة تناولت في المبحث الاول مفهوم التجديد والتفسير وبواعثه وفي المبحث الثاني؛ ضوابط التجديد وآدابه في العصر الحديث وخاتمة بينت اهم نتائج البحث ومنها الابتعاد عن كل ما يخالف مقاصد الدين واصوله والثوابت الاسلامية بحجة التجديد والتطور ومواكبه العصر، ان الدين الاسلامي دين صالح لكل زمان ومكان، ينهض بهذه الامة بين الحين والحين الاخر الى الرقي والتقدم ومن ابتغى غير الاسلام دينا فان له معيشة ضنكا، وعلى المفسر مراعات الضوابط العامة والخاصة في منهجه التفسيري والضوابط التي تخصه كمجدد، وان يتجنب الغلو والتطرف والتعصب المذهبي وان يجمع بكل تلك الضوابط.
