The study seeks to explore the reality of “Aldarbawiyah” Group and learn about this group by answering the following: What is this group and its general characteristics? What is the extent of the groups' spread in the Saudi community? What are the motives behind joining this group? What are the behavior sand rituals practiced by the members before and during the gatherings? What is the best ways for addressing such phenomenon? Study Methodology and Tools: Study used social survey and observation methodologies The study appliedsocialsurvey method. A questionnaire was administer edtocollect Quantitative data from the field. Simple observation method was also utilizedto collect qualitative data. Significant results: 1- The Darbawiyah (car drifters) has its Western origin. 2- Its member’s ages are ranging from 18 to 22 years old. 3- It spreads in poor areas of Riyadh (in the south, east and west of Riyadh) 4- It organizes its activities in a secret way not known to others. 5- The group is widely spread among youth. 6- the negative behaviors that practiced by Aldarbawiyah in their gathering and drifting areas include : Explosion, burial, quintupling, fast drive in circles, drafting, listing to Lyrics, Popular songs, maize, accelerated, makechangestothecar and givethecara uniform color, distributions ofdrugs, practicinghomosexuality, presence of girls in some cases, exposing andusing firearms, expressionsof tribalism, the use of indecent and racist expressions, road blocking, quarrelling and fighting, tribal and regional competitions. 7- The availability of computer games assimilates Aldarbawiyah. Main recommendations: 1 - Parents should watch over their children behavior and control their activities to prevent any devious behavior. 2- Alternative suitable amusements should bepresented, to fulfill the youth’sleisure-timewisely, such as building sport clubs withinneighborhoods. 3 - Tougheningthe punishment against those who practice drifting, exposing of firearms and other related activities.Trials should be swift and public to deter others. 4- Authorities should work hard to preventtribalmanifestations of intolerance. 5-Designated authorities should follow the development of Aldarbawiyah group and its manifestation. 6-Conduct consecutive studies on the development of this group and other similar groups, to better understand it in order to combat it.
تحاول هذه الدراسة استكشاف واقع جماعة الدرباوية والتعرف إليها من خلال الإجابة عن التساؤلات الآتية: ما جماعة الدرباوية؟ وما خصائصها العامة؟ وما مدى انتشار جماعة الدرباوية في المجتمع السعودي؟ ما الدوافع للانضمام إلى الجماعة الدرباوية؟ ما السلوكيات والممارسات التي تتم في أثناء التجمعات وقبلها؟ ما الطرائق المثلى لعلاج مشكلة الدرباوية؟ منهج الدراسة وأدواتها: استخدم منهج المسح الاجتماعي ومنهج الملاحظة، واتخذت الاستبانة أداة لجمع البيانات الكمية، واستخدمت أيضأ أداة الملاحظة البسيطة لجمع المعلومات الكيفية. أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة: ١ . أصول جماعة الدرباوية تعود إلى أصول غربية. ٠٢ يتراوح أعمار أعضائها ما بين ١٨ إلى ٢٢ سنة. ٣. تنتشر الجماعة في الأحياء ذات الدخل المتدني من الرياض (في جنوب الرياض وشرقها وغربها). ٤ . جماعة الدرباوية جماعة ذات تنظيم سري غير واضح المعالم. ٥ . للجماعة انتشار واسع بين الشباب. 6. من السلوكيات السلبية التي يمارسها الدرباوية في ساحات التفحيط وأماكن التجمع: التفجير، والدفن، والخبة، والتخميس، والاستعراض، والاستماع للأغاني الشعبية والشامية، وإجراء تعديلات على السيارات (الترهيم)، وطلاء السيارات بلون موحد، والتعزيز، والتوجيه، وترويج المخدرات، وممارسة الشذوذ الجنسي، ووجود بعض الفتيات أحيانا، وإشهار السلاح، واستخدام عبارات تدعو إلى العصبية القبلية، وكذلك استخدام عبارات تخدش الحياء، وعمل مواكب، وحدوث مشادات ومضاربات، والقيام بمنافسات قبلية ومناطقية، وعلى مستوى دول الخليج. 7. وجود ألعاب إلكترونية (بلايستيشن) تحاكى درب الخطر.
