المستخلص: لم يقتصر عمل القاضي في العصر الفاطمي على الفصل بين الخصومات بين الناس وهذه وظيفة القضاء التي يقوم بها القاضي في الدولة الإسلامية، بل اتسعت دائرة عمله فشملت الوزارة وهو نظام متعارف في الدول الإسلامية، مرتبطا بالخلافة فضلا عن حق النظر في عدة أمور جعلت سلطته كبيرة، ونفوذه عظيما، ففي العصر الفاطمي كلن على القاضي أن يحضر مع الخليفة ويؤدي أعمالا وفقا لرسوم وتقاليد فاطمية أيام المواسم والح. والأعياد الرسمية. وتقليده الوزارة بمثابة مستشار الخليفة ومعاونه وكذلك كان على قاضي القضاة أن يحضر أيضا ليالي الجمع في الاسمطة التي كانت تمتد في شهر رمضان توقيرا له كذلك نظر القاضي في القصص (العرائض)، كما نظر في الجراح وفي الشرطة وفي إقامة الحدود، ويسند للقاضي أيضا بيت المال وتولي الأحباس، فضلا عن تولي نقابة الطالبين وكذلك تولى رتبة (الوساطة)، لأنه كان يتوسط بين الخليفة ورعيته وتصحبها أيضا مهمة القيام بالسفارة لتدل على تحقيق رغبات الخليفة السياسية خارج حدود الدولة الفاطمية.

In the Fatimid era, the judge did not limit the disputes between the people. This is the judicial function of the judge in the Islamic state. The ministry expanded its work. In the Fatimid period, the judge was required to attend the caliphate and perform acts according to the Fatimid customs and traditions during the seasons, Hajj and official festivals. And the ministry used to serve as advisor to the caliph and his assistant. The judge was also required to attend the gathering of the sabbaths which were held in the month of Ramadan in honor of him. The judge also considered the stories (petitions), as well as the surgeon, the police and the establishment of the borders. The judge assigned the house of money and the custody of the father, as well as the union of the students. He also took the rank of mediator because he mediated between the caliph and his sponsor, To indicate the fulfillment of the wishes of the political caliphate outside the borders of the Fatimid state.
