المستخلص: Modern creativity needs modern mechanisms capable of testing its development and changing it narrative methods. Accordingly, the present paper is based on testing the effects of some key concepts of postmodernism philosophy on the narration of the new generation at the beginning of the twentieth century. The paper studies the novels of "Repeatedly Stopping" and "Sidi Barrani" for the author Mohammed Salah al-Azab to investigate aspects of development in the author under question. In this respect, the researcher does not attempt to reach a strict definition of the concept of post-modernism, but seeks instead to test three specific concepts: history, fact versus fiction, and the impact of media. With regard to history, the modern novel moved away from the establishment of the plot on a historical basis. Instead the modem novel challenged history with its major narrations and attempted to establish its own history; history is nonsense. The present paper offered an analysis of how a line of criticism of the past was always evident in the novels; the building of the start-up and conclusion of the novel; the role of opening chapters in paving the road for the events of the story as well as the role of the conclusion in mocking reality. As for the concept of fiction versus reality within the novel, a state of alienation was initiated. The paper showed how modern narration exceeded mainstream sense of alienation that depended on the change of man towards a newer state that is related to a sort of magical realism, the lining up of sub-plots within a unique mixture of reality and fiction within the novel. Modem narration depended on a linguistic and historical mixture employed to offer such a mixture of the fictional versus the real to the receiver. Concerning the media, modem novel went beyond the view of the means of a formula used to restrict or present the content to the reader. Instead, media represent a cultural representation that reflects the impact of the image presented in the novel, the impact of the mean of communication as well as the dominance of television. This could explain the affinity between some scenes of novels and movie scenes in order to study how novels are influenced by the language of the press and dominance of the language of everyday communication.

يحتاج الإبداع الجديد إلى آليات جديدة لاختبار تطوره وتغير آلياته السردية. من هنا ينطلق البحث لاختبار تأثيرات مقولات أساسية في فلسفة ما بعد الحداثة على سرد الجيل الجديد مع مطلع القرن الحادي والعشرين. ويختار البحث روايتي "وقوف متكرر" و"سيدي براني" للكاتب محمد صلاح العزب لبيان تطورات السرد عنده. ولا يتفرغ لبيان تحديد صارم لمفهوم ما بعد الحداثة، وإنما يختبر مقولات ثلاث: التاريخ، والحقيقة والخيال، وتأثير الوسائط. ففي التاريخ: ابتعدت الرواية الجديدة عن إقامة الرواية على قصة تاريخية فتحدت التاريخ وسردياته الكبرى وأنشأت تاريخها الخاص؛ فالتاريخ هراء. وحلل البحث كيف كان نقد القديم حاضرا داخل متن الرواية وبيان الاستهلال والختام، ودور الاستهلال في التمهيد لمسار الحكاية، ودور الختام في السخرية من الواقع. وفي الحقيقة والخيال بدا إعلاء حالة الغرائبية، وكيف تجاوز السرد الجديد الغرائبية القديمة واعتمادها على تغير الإنسان لحالة أخرى، فضلا عن التأثر بالواقعية السحرية، وتراكم حكايات جانبية داخل المتن الروائي بما سمح بخلط الواقعي بالخيالي، وجعل الواقعي محل فحص. وقد اعتمد السرد الجديد بعضا من التهجين اللغوي والتاريخي في سبيل تقريب هذا الخلط للمتلقي. وفي تأثير الوسائط تجاوزت الرواية الجديدة حد التأثر بالوسائط بوصفها صيغة تقديم أو تقييد فصارت صيغة لتمثيل ثقافي يبدو فيه التأثير بزخم الصورة وتأثير وسائل الاتصال وهيمنة التلفزيون حتى يمكن رد بعض مشاد الروايات لأفلام سينمائية والتناص معها، فضلا عن التأثر بلغة الصحافة وهيمنة اللغة العادية.
