المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى الكشف عن أسباب ظاهرة العنف الذي يمارس ضد الأطفال، ومعرفة أساليب وطرق العلاج المناسبة للمشكلات النفسية والسلوكية الناتجة عنة وتوصل الباحث إلي عدة أسباب منها: بيولوجية ونفسية وفردية وأسرية ومجتمعية. وتبني الباحث أسلوبين للعلاج، هما العلاج النفسي والعلاج السلوكي، إلى عدد من الاستنتاجات وفق تحليل النظريات العلمية، ومن واقع نتائج دراسات وأبحاث سابقة أجريت على بيئات متعددة، إلى أن ظاهرة العنف لها أسباب متعددة لا يمكن تفسيرها بمتغير واحد، حيث أن هناك عوامل متعددة مباشرة وغير مباشرة تتداخل وتترابط لتشكيلها، وتساهم البيئة المحيطة في أحداث العديد من الأزمات التي تؤدي إلى اضطرابات ومشكلات نفسية وسلوكية، وهي رد فعل طبيعي للفوضى والفقر والقهر والتهميش ويؤدي إلى العديد من الأثار السلبية التي تنتقل من الأطفال إلى الأسرة ثم إلى المجتمع. وقام الباحث بعرض لبعض المشكلات النفسية والسلوكية وطرق علاجها.

The aim of this research is to clarify the causes of violence against children, and also tends to find out the right suitable ways of tackling the psychological, and behavioral problems that resulted from the violence. Therefore, the researcher pointed out into varied ways of sorting these problems out. For instance, biological, psychological, individuality, family and sociological .Further to that, two main process were accredited for addressing the violence of children:psychological treatment. Behavioral treatment. Additionally a great number of conclusions were found according to the scientific theories. As a consequence of previous studies and researches were conducted on varied environment indicated that the theory of violence has different reasons which is incapable to be interpreted to one meaning, where there are direct and indirect factors interfering to form it, indeed the surrounding environment contributes in considerable number of cries which may lead to riots psychological problems, which is a natural reaction for chaotic region, poverty, neglecting, and also may give rise to some side effects that convey these negative points from the children to family then to the community. The researcher clarified some of behavioral and psychological problems and their treatments.
