|a مرت على الفكر العربـي والإسلامي فترة تداخل فيها مفهوما الفضاء والمكان، أو ما يسمى بمصطلح الفضاء الجغرافي، الذي يمثل -فـي العمـل السوسيو مورفولوجي-قيما اجتماعية خاصة للـذوات التي تقدم إشارات جغرافية داخلية أو خارجية، تكون بمثابة نقطة الانطلاق لتحريـك الخيـال، والتصورات، والتمثـلات لاستكشاف صورة الأماكن التي تتعرض لها. وبناء عليه استدعى البحث مقاربة الفضاء المديني من خلال دراسة العلاقـة بيـن الفاعـل وفضائـه الخـاص علـى صعيدي التمثـل والممارسة، داخل فضاء مديني تقليدي (منطقـة الحفصية من البلاد التونسية)، ومن زاويـة الاستعمال الـذي تقيمـه الـذوات الاجتماعية مع وعبر الفضاء، كلفة تخاطب رمزي بيـن الهويات الثقافية للمكان، وكقناة تواصل اجتماعي. وهو بذلـك يعمق البحث فـي مقاربـة الفضاء المديني، وما تفرزه من سوسيو -ثقافيـة ما هويـة معماريـة لفضاء المدينـة العربيـة والإسلامية، وما تتميز به من تداخل بين الريفـي والحضري والتقليـدي والحديـث.

|f Arab and Islamic thought has gone through a period of overlapping the concepts of space and place, or the so-called term geographical space, which, in socio-morphological work, represents special social values for those who provide internal or external geographical signals, which serve as the starting point for moving imagination and perception and representations to explore the image of the places they are exposed to. \nAccordingly, the research called for the approach of urban space by studying the relationship between the actors and its private space at both levels of representation and practice, within a traditional urban space (Hafsid region of Tunisia), and from the point of view of the use that social groups assess with and through space, the cost of addressing Symbol between the cultural identities of the place and as a social channel.
