المستخلص: This article deals with one of the most basic and fundamental components of cognitive development, i.e., mental images that can be considered through various theoretical approaches within modern psychology, especially John Piaget's theory, one of the basic components of representing things and experiences in an individual, especially in a child during his growth stages. Based on this rule, mental images can be considered an inherent ability that reflects the child's ability to cognitive summoning. On this basis, it is clear how important the views of John Piaget in this regard can be when we review what he has said about their nature, classification, and underlying features, and hence their types and forms. Perhaps this importance we draw from differences that may characterize other scientific discussions. Therefore, the importance of highlighting this concept in the light of John Piaget's theory can be considered of great importance since it will show what the latter's opinions have reached, explain the dimensions of this concept, show how mental images can intervene, and how they can contribute and interfere with a child's cognitive development path. Le présent article, traite l'un des composantes fondamentale dans le développement cognitif, à savoir, les images mentales qui est selon les différentes approches théoriques en psychologie moderne en particulier l’approche piagétien, considéré comme esquisse et élément de base dans la représentation des expériences et événements chez l'individu et en particulier chez l’enfant toute au long de son développement ,à partir de ce constat le concept d’images mentales implique une capacité majeure dans l’évocation cognitif et la représentation imagée, par conséquent vu l’importance des idées avancé par de Jean Piaget en premier lieu, est la particularité de son approche nature , formes, classifications)et vu les divergences qui peut être constater dans d’autres approche en psychologie modem au tour de ce concept, en considère que l’idée de discuter et mettre en éclaire ce que la théorie piagétienne apporte à une importance considérable puis qu'elle illustre tout d’abord la dimension des images mentales et expose comment contribuent ‘elles dans le processus développement cognitif de l'enfant.

يتناول هذا المقال أحد أهم المكونات الأساسية والقاعدية في النمو المعرفي ألا وهي الصور الذهنية التي يمكن اعتبارها من خلال مختلف التناولات النظرية ضمن علم النفس الحديث وبالأخص نظرية جون بياجيه أحد المكونات القاعدية لتمثيل الأشياء والخبرات لدى الفرد وخاصة عند الطفل خلال مراحل نموه، انطلاقا من هذه القاعدة يمكن اعتبار الصور الذهنية قدرة كامنة تعكس مدى قدرة الطفل على الاستدعاء والاستحضار المعرفي، وعلى أساس ذلك تتضح مدى الأهمية التي يمكن أن تكتسيها أراء جون بياجيه في هذا الصدد حينما نستعرض ما ذهب إليه لما تناول طبيعتها وتصنيفها ومميزاتها التي تقوم عليها ومن ثمة أنواعها وأشكالها، ولعل الأهمية في ذلك نستقيها من الاختلافات التي قد تميز تناولات علمية أخرى وعليه أهمية تسليط الضوء حول هذا المفهوم في ضوء نظرية جون بياجيه يمكن اعتباره ذو أهمية كبيرة على اعتبار أنه سيبين ما ذهبت أراء هذا الأخير وتوضح أبعاد هذا المفهوم وتعرض كيف يمكن أن تتدخل الصور الذهنية وكيف يمكن أن تساهم وتتدخل في مسار النمو المعرفي لدى الطفل.
