المستخلص: تعتبر المحكمة الجنائية الدولية أول هيئة قضائية أعطت مركزا قانونيا متميزا لضحايا الجرائم الدولية، وأوجدت وضعا مغايرا تماما عما كان له قبل إنشاء هذه الهيئة، ويشكل حق الحماية إحدى الحقوق الممنوحة للضحايا والذي راعت المحكمة الجنائية الدولية فيه كل التدابير اللازمة والأجهزة المخصصة للحماية، حيث اتخذت مجموعة من الإجراءات والتدابير العامة والخاصة لحماية الضحايا كتمويه الصوت، وإخفاء صور الضحايا وغيرها من الأساليب إضافة إلى ذلك، أوكلت مهمة الحماية إلى عدة أجهزة بالمحكمة تمثلت في وحدة الضحايا والشهود والمدعي العام وكذلك دوائر المحكمة. تعمل كلها في انسجام من أجل حماية الضحايا.
