المستخلص: The essential substance of the Prophets' universal message consists in the four basic objectives prescribed in the Qur’ān. Allama Badī-Zamān Nūrsī has elaborated this message in his famous epistles. The four objectives outlined in the Qur’ān are: tawhid, Prophet hood, resurrection and justice with servitude. The theologians of Islam have established a number of rational grounds for the need to institute Prophets. These arguments include the principle of Divine Clemency or what is often termed as the ‘Weal of the servants. On the contrary, there are those who deny these arguments and reject the possibility of Prophet hood. They think that given the human rational ability to discover good and evil, the Prophet hood was redundant. The present paper seeks to elaborate the substance of the Prophets' universal message as discussed in the epistles of Nūrsī. The writer finds in this discussion more extensive dimensions of the issue. These dimensions have been elaborated in the following epistles in particular: al- Kalimāt, al-Maktūbāt, al-Lama‘āt, al-Shu‘ā‘āt and al- Mathnavī al- ‘Arabī.

الحمد لله رب العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على رسوله الأمين، وعلى آله وأصحابه والتابعين، ومن تبعهم بإحسان إلى يوم الدين، أما بعد: فسوف يستعرض البحث بالدراسة والتحليل، الرسالة الأساسية والكونية للأنبياء من منظور رسائل النور، حيث أنني أجد من خلال تصفحي للرسائل، أن الإمام بديع الزمان سعيد النورسي قد خصص للرسول المعلم صلى الله عليه وسلم مساحات واسعة في رسائله، أبرزها في كتاب الكلمات والمكتوبات واللمعات والشعاعات والمثنوي العربي.
