المستخلص: يحمل كل حرف دلالة نحوية خاصة به، تتجسد في الذهن كلما ذكُر، وبواسطة الحروف تميز المعاني في التراكيب، وللحرف معنى تركيبي عام وآخر خاص يحدده السياق الذي يظهر فيه داخل التركيب، أي إنه يتميز بخصوصية، وتتعين معالم مضامينه في السياقات المتباينة .
لقد شرع المفسرون والنحاة منذ أوائل القرن الهجري الأول ، يتناولون دراسة الحروف في التراكيب القرآنية، مبرزين وظائفها الدلالية في سياقاتها النحوية مع حصر وظيفة كل حرف وتحديد الفروق الدقيقة بينها انطلاقا من السياق.

Each letter carries its own grammatical significance, embodied in the mind whenever it is mentioned, and by means of letters, the meanings are distinguished in the composites. The letter has a general and special composite meaning determined by the context in which it appears inside the composition, i.e. it has specificity, and its contents have to be marked in different contexts.
Since the beginning of the first century, commentators and sculptors began to study letters in Quranic structures, highlighting their semantic functions in their grammatical contexts, limiting the function of each letter and identifying their nuances from context.
