المستخلص: This study aims to identify the challenges facing the Arab countries in consolidating their language in the global information society, which has become a feature of the age and the new millennium, diagnosing the Arab information reality and identifying ways to improve the Arabic language. The problem of our research are formulated in the following central question: What are the challenges facing the Arabic language in the face of media and communication globalization and its emergence as an effective tool in the global information society? What are the means and tools that ensure the elevation of the Arabic language and the building of a pure Arab knowledge society in which Arabic plays a pivotal role? The general analytical approach will be used to answer the problem presented according to a plan consisting of four topics—the first deals with identifying concepts related to the subject of research. The second topic presents the implications of the global information society in the Arabic language. The third topic is concerned with the issue of language characteristics in the globalized reality. The fourth topic presents proposals to promote the Arabic language and keep abreast of the globalization of media and communication.

تستهدف هذه الدراسة التعرف على التحديات التي تواجه الدول العربية في ترسيخ لغتها في مجتمع المعلومات العالمي الذي أصبح سمة العصر والألفية الجديدة، وتشخيص الواقع المعلوماتي العربي وتعيين سبل الارتقاء باللغة العربية، فتصاغ إشكالية بحثنا في التساؤل المركزي التالي: ما التحديات التي تواجهها اللغة العربية في مواجهة العولمة الإعلامية والاتصالية والبروز كأداة فاعلة في مجتمع المعلومات العالمي؟ وما هي الوسائل والأدوات التي تضمن رفع مكانة اللغة العربية، وبناء مجتمع معلوماتي معرفي عربي أصيل تلعب اللغة العربية دورا محوريا فيه؟ وسيتم استخدام المنهج التحليلي العام للإجابة على الإشكالية المطروحة وفق خطة تتألف من أربعة محاور، يتناول المحور الأول تحديد المفاهيم ذات الصلة بموضوع البحث، ويعرض المحور الثاني انعكاسات مجتمع المعلومات العالمي على اللغة العربية، ويهتم المحور الثالث بمآل الخصوصية اللغوية في الواقع المعولم ويعرض المحور الرابع مقترحات للنهوض باللغة العربية ومواكبة العولمة الإعلامية والاتصالية.

Les objectifs de cette étude sont : L’article met l’accent sur l’identification des défis que les pays arabes affrontent pour l’évolution de la langue arabe dans la société de l’information mondiale, cette dernière qui est devenue une caractéristique de notre époque et du nouveau millénaire. Deuxièmement, une présentation d’un diagnostique de la réalité informationnelle dans les pays arabes ainsi que la désignation des moyens pour améliorer la langue arabe. Pour atteindre nos deux objectifs on utilisera une méthode analytique pour répondre à la problématique qui vise à connaître ces défis en quatre chapitres : Le premier, clarifie les concepts. Le deuxième, présente les influences (les répercussions) de la société de l’information sur la langue arabe. En conclusion, le sujet porte sur le sort de la particularité linguistique. Et enfin la présente étude porte sur des propositions pour faire revivre la langue arabe au sein de la mondialisation de l’information et de la communication.
