المستخلص: Some researchers define dialogue as a conversation between two people or two teams, on a specific topic, each with its own point of view, the goal of which is to reach the truth or to the greatest possible harmony in the views, away from discord or fanaticism, in a manner that depends on science and the mind, with both parties willing to accept the truth, even if it was a position held by the other.
What are the objectives and reasons for the dialogue? Why Abyssiniah? Why Jaafar (may Allah be pleased with him)? What are the methods of this dialogue and what are its objectives and outcomes? These and other questions are the focus of this study.

يعرف بعض الباحثين الحوار بأنه محادثة بين شخصين أو فريقين، حول موضوع محدد، لكل منهما وجهة نظر خاصة به، هدفها الوصول إلى الحقيقة، أو إلى أكبر قدر ممكن من تطابق وجهات النظر، بعيدا عن الخصومة أو التعصب، بطريق يعتمد على العلم والعقل، مع استعداد كلا الطرفين لقبول الحقيقة، ولو ظهرت على يد الطرف الآخر.
ما هي دواعي وأسباب الحوار؟، لماذا الحبشة؟، ولماذا جعفر رضي الله عنه بالذات؟، ما هي أساليب هذا الحوار وما أهدافه ونتائجه؟ هذه الأسئلة وغيرها هي محور هذا الدراسة.

Certains chercheurs définissent le dialogue comme étant une conversation entre deux personnes ou deux groupes autour d'un sujet bien précis où chacun a son opinion et qui a pour but d'aboutir à une vérité ou à une certaine convergence d'idées, loin de toute subjectivité ou confrontation et ce par la voie de la science et la logique. Où, aussi, tout un chacun est prédisposé à accepter l'avis de l'autre sans le dénigrer.
Cette étude traduit la méthodologie usitée par Djaafar afin d'obtenir crédit auprès de Négus.
