المستخلص: Prendre possession du « terme » dans toutes ses dimensions linguistiques d’origine c’est prendre possession de la vraie information scientifique. Nos ancêtres, nous ‘’arabo-musulmans’ ont très tôt pris conscience de l’importance des sujets, et publié divers dictionnaires et nomenclatures spécialisés en terminologie. L'ironie apparaît dans le fait que c’est l’occident qui a pris le flambeau de cette conquête scientifique, à la place de son héritier légitime, et a développé cette science d’une telle vitesse qu’il en sorte en continu un nombre illimité de termes nouveaux dans des langues autres que l’arabe. Le chercheur arabe s’est trouvé alors fort confus, obligé à consacrer son effort et son temps à la recherche de la signification des termes qu’il reçoit. Un de ces termes qui nous intriguent est : « la sécurité ».

إن المصطلح هو مفتاح إدراك العلوم وفقهها، بل هو عمودها الفقري وروحها، دونه يستحيل قيام منظومة معرفية أو علمية، من أجله قامت مؤسسات ومراكز بحثية علمية، بل قام باسمه علم وسم بعلم المصطلحات، وقد أدرك آباؤنا الأولون قبل هذا أهميته وصنفت فيه الكتب والمعاجم، وقامت عليه علوما ومعارف في شتى أصناف الفكر. إلا أن المفارقة تظهر في استلام مشعل هذا الفتح العلمي من طرف الغرب الذي طور العلوم فخرجت من عباءته مصطلحات كثيرة متسارعة أربكت الباحث العربي الذي كان ينبغي أن يكون مستلم هذا المشعل -وضيعت جهوده العلمية ووقته في اللهث وراء دلالات مصطلحات لا يكاد يفك لغز إحداها حتى يلقى إليه بأخرى. مما أفرز إشكالية تستدعي التوقف عندها لبحثها، ونظراً لأن المصطلحات كثيرة ومتسارعة كما سبق الإشارة إليه فإننا وقفنا عند مصطلح واحد نتتبع من خلاله هذه الإشكالية وهو مصطلح "الأمن" لأهميته المتمثلة في غيابه عن جل إن لم نقل كل حياة المجتمع العربي على وجه الخصوص والمجتمع الإسلامي على وجه العموم وهذا ما يمثل أهمية هذا الموضوع الذي بن أيدينا.

The irony appears in the fact that it is the west who took the torch of this scientific conquest, in place of his legitimate heir, and has developed this science of such a speed that it ensure continuous an unlimited number of new terms in languages other than Arabic. The researcher Arab If is found then very confused obliged to devote his effort and his time to the search for the meaning of the terms that it receives. One of those terms that we are puzzled by is "security".
