المستخلص: The phenomenon of orientalism has aroused an extensive debate in the field of intellectual and civilizational studies; those studies have worked on the formation of the western and the eastern mind together. Orientalism, the intellectual current that was represented in the various studies about the Islamic East and which included its civilizations, religions, literatures, languages, and cultures. Besides, the movement of orientalism had a pushing force and circulation which instigated and influenced the human thought. Ever since the western printing press emerged, the care of orientalism increased in this heritage that the various western printing shops started to circulate and produce what was thrown at them of the Arabic heritage in particular the printing of the Holy Quran; the orientalists from Italy, France, Spain, Britain, Germany, Russia, Holland, Austria, and America made this straining effort. The efforts of the orientalists streamed into printing the Holy Quran at an early time of the history of orientalism; the Holy Quran was the first goal the efforts of the orientalist movement headed for because the need for assimilating it in as much as it would facilitate for the westerners their understanding of the religion embraced by the Islamic nation which the Crusades
