المستخلص: The significant development of the information and communications sector and the subsequent development of electronic means and tools have significantly impacted various areas of life, including the educational and pedagogical spheres. The development of the Internet has contributed to the emergence of modern methods, techniques, and means of teaching and learning, including virtual education, e-learning, virtual universities, and open education. These all are new patterns and formulas of distance education as one of the educational orientations that favor the development of its philosophy and objectives in line with this tremendous development imposed by information and communication technology, which has contributed significantly, especially recently, to the spread of education and learning opportunities among individuals in any society. It has the capacity to provide all the services offered by traditional forms of education and even surpass it because of its advanced technological capabilities, in addition to providing a space for education where individuals meet without commitment to the boundaries of time and space, based on globalization and universalization, that fulfills the needs of individuals and societies in the era of globalization, which drives towards more interdependence, convergence, and shrinking of the world, which means the abolition of borders and divides between States and Communities.
This requires possessing the tools of the age of technology and the communications revolution of science and technology and the intellectual base that creates a social climate conducive to keeping pace with it and where there is rationality and democracy, creating a new mind that is able to truly exist in this age. It is not effective to prepare this mind to own and employ communication and information technology in the field of education only, but it is necessary to equip the individual with knowledge and facts and even develop his personal skills and abilities to make him able to deal with the patterns of education provided by cyberspace, and this is what this study is aimed at.

إن التطور الكبير الذي شهده قطاع المعلومات والاتصالات وما تبعه من تطور في الوسائل والأدوات الإلكترونية كان له أثر كبير في مختلف مجالات الحياة ومنها المجال التعليمي التربوي، حيث أسهم التطور التي شهدته شبكة المعلومات الدولية في ظهور طرق وتقنيات ووسائل حديثة في التعليم والتعلم ومنها: التعليم الافتراضي، والتعليم الإلكتروني، والجامعات الافتراضية، والتعليم المفتوح وكلها أنماط وصيغ جديدة للتعليم من بعد كأحد التوجهات التعليمية التي يحبذ تطوير فلسفتها وأهدافها بما يتماشى مع هذه التطور الهائل الذي تفرضه تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات والتي ساهمت بشكل كبير وخاصة في الآونة الأخيرة في انتشار فرص التعليم والتعلم بين الأفراد في أي مجتمع، وذلك لامتلاكها القدرة على جميع الخدمات التي تقدمها صيغ التعليم التقليدية بل وتفوقها بإمكاناتها التكنولوجية المتقدمة، بالإضافة إلى بما توفره من فضاء للتعليم يلتقي فيه الأفراد دون الالتزام بحدود الزمان والمكان وذلك انطلاقا إلى الكونية والعالمية بما يلبي حاجات الأفراد والمجتمعات في ظل عصر العولمة الذي يدفع نحو مزيد من ترابط العالم وتقاربه وانكماشه الأمر الذي يعني إلغاء الحدود والفواصل بين الدول والمجتمعات.
وهذا يتطلب امتلاك أدوات عصر التكنولوجيا وثورة الاتصالات من علم وتكنولوجيا وتوافر القاعدة الفكرية التي تهيئ مناخا اجتماعيا يساعد على مواكبتها، ويتوافر فيه العقلانية والديمقراطية بما يفزر عقلا جديدا قادرا على التواجد بالفعل في هذا العصر. ولا يجدي لإعداد هذا العقل امتلاك وتوظيف تكنولوجيا الاتصال والمعلومات في مجال التعليم فقط بل لابد من إكساب الفرد للمعارف والحقائق بل وتنمية مهاراته وقدراته الشخصية ليكون قادرا على التعامل مع أنماط التعليم التي وفرها الفضاء السيبري. وهذا ما يستهدفه البحث الحالي.
