The Return Marches, which began on 30 March 2018 and are due to peak on 15 May 2018, occupies a central turning point in the Palestinian political and struggle movement. The innovative diverse progress has seen resistance moving from public to armed and to individual. Now, the Return Marches adopt mass peaceful resistance mobilization. The uniqueness of the geography of the activity constitutes a quantum leap. Firstly, the leadership of Gaza, which is managed by Hamas, also represents a key issue. On the one hand, the group, which has adopted a military approach and engaged in three major battles against Israel, is the actual guide of such peaceful public demonstrations. On the other hand, the Gaza Strip, which has taken the resistance track and suffers from an economic disaster, environmental crisis and tightened siege, is a point of departure for such peaceful activities. That could create a new framing state of worldly approaches of peaceful public resistance. Secondly, although Israel thought it isolated the area from the Palestinian issue and that the only way to deal with it is aggression, the recent marches have turned Gaza into a new borderline confrontation. Thirdly, the development constitutes a breakthrough in the general political scene at the Palestinian, Arab and international levels. In conclusion, if the Palestinian Return Marches continue in the same way, they are expected to form a shifting point in the Palestinian future political routes. Fundamental effect will be found in the different dimensions of the Palestinian cause, mainly in managing the conflict with the occupation as well as the size of international and regional influence on the Palestinian politics.
