المستخلص: جاء هذا البحث لدراسة دلالة المكان في الشعر الجاهلي دراسة أدبية في المعلقات الشعرية من خلال ربط المكان بنصوص المعلقات الشعرية التي تناولت الأماكن في العصر الجاهلي؛ فقد عرضنا للعلاقة بين الشعر والمكان في الفكر العربي، وهو تاريخ عريق تجدد القصائد ما اندثر منه، ثم تابعنا البحث عن أهمية المكان في الشعر الجاهلي، وتوصلنا للخصوصية التي حظي بها. وتحدثنا عن تنوع أبعاد المكان في النصوص الشعرية، وأفردنا الجزء الأخير للحديث عن دلالة المكان وأثره في وعي الشاعر العربي في العصر الجاهلي، فالحديث عن المكان يعد من الضروريات التي يجب إبرازها وإيضاحها؛ لأن المكان ليس مفهوما مفرغا، سواء أكان المقصود بالمكان المعنى العام أو المعنى الخاص، كما لا تخفى علينا أهمية الأماكن المقدسة وإعطائها حقها، وكيف وظف الشاعر هذا المكان توظيفا يليق به كعنصر مهم في القصيدة للكشف عن ذلك الحضور الطاغي للمكان في شعره، وتطور صورة المكان في الشعر لتقديم صورة وافية عن المكان وخصوصيته، وتوضيح الصورة التي تعامل فيها الشاعر مع عدة أماكن مختلفة ومدى إعطاء الأماكن حقها من الأهمية، وارتباطها بالشاعر.

This research has a study of the significance of the locative in the pre-Islamic poetry literary accordingly through linking the locative to the poetic pendants that contracted the locatives since ancientness era. So we have presented the relation between the poet and the locative in the Arabian abstraction and that is a highbred history of poetry renewal of what have been lost of it. Then I have continued the research about the importance of the locative in the pre-Islamic poetry and we have reached to the exclusivity that it has honored. And we have discussed the diversity of the locative dimensions in the poetic pendants and then we have singled out in the last section about the locative and its impact in the consciousness of Arab poet in pre-Islamic era. It is not easy to the poet that he relinquish any associated locative that he has strong connection with the discourse about the locative is considered to be a necessary that has to be presented and illustrated because the locative is not a hollow conception whether the locative was meaning to be in general or in specific. As we can’t put out of sight the necessity of holy locatives and giving of their importance and how the Poet made use of this locative utilizing it in good characteristic approach in the poetic pendant to expose about that dictated presence in his pendants and the development of locative in that pendant and present a clear picture that the Poet dealt with so many different locatives and how much the holy locatives giving of their importance and how is it associated to the Poet
