المستخلص: يعالج هذا البحث معنى الفاء الفصيحة وفوائدها، ووظيفتها في إبراز الجمل المحذوفة، ودورها البياني في التقديرات السياقية للنص القرآني، حيث تُعدُّ هذه الفاء الرابط الحقيقي بين الجمل المذكورة والجمل المحذوفة، فهي الدالّ على ما يراه المفسر من كلامٍ حاضر في المعنى البياني للنص القرآني، ودورها قائم على إبراز خصيصة الإيجاز القرآني في إحدى صوره، من خلال ما يتحلى به من عنصر الدقة والانضباط وقيام الدليل على الفهم الأنيق، فالفاء الفصيحة، ليست مجرد حرف من حروف المعاني، وإنما هي فوق ذلك دليلٌ من أدلة الإيجاز اللفظي، ودورها عظيم في بيان خفيات التراكيب القرآنية، بما يُسهم في تجلية حركة الإعجاز وتذوقه.
ويستوعب البحث جميع المواضع التي نصَّ أبو السعود على تعيين الفاء الفصيحة فيها، إما ذكراً وإما إحالةً، ويناقشه في تلك المواضع مناقشة علمية تخصصية، بإظهار معنى الفاء تارةً، وفائدتها تارةً أخرى، وطريقة تقدير الجمل المحذوفة، وقد ظهر لي أنَّ أبا السعود هو أبرز من كانت له الصولة والجولة في توظيف الفاء الفصيحة في القرآن الكريم، وهو امتدادٌ لكلمات الزمخشري اليسيرات في هذا الباب، وكلُّ من جاء بعد أبي السعود فهو آخذ عنه، ومقتفٍ أثره.

This research discusses the meaning and usefulness of the eloquent ف (the Arabic Alphabet Faa), its function in highlighting the omitted sentences, and its rhetorical role in the contextual assessments of the Quranic text. This ف (the Arabic Alphabet Faa) is considered the real link between the mentioned sentences and the omitted sentences. It indicates to a present statement in the rhetorical meaning of the Quranic text based on the opinion of the interpreter, and its role is based on highlighting the essence of the Quranic brevity in one of its forms, through its precision and discipline and the evidence of the elegant understanding. The eloquent ف (the Arabic Alphabet Faa) is not just one of the letters of meanings, but above tha, it is an evidence of verbal brevity, and its role is great in explaining the secrets of the Quranic structures, with its contribution to the demonstration of the movement of miracles and its appreciation.
The research comprises of all the places that Abu al-Saud has written on the identification of the eloquent ف (the Arabic Alphabet Faa) either by mentioning it or referring to it and conducting a specialized scientific discussion about it in those places by showing the meaning of ف (the Arabic Alphabet Faa) some times, and its usefulness at other times and how to asses the omitted sentences. It appeared to me that Abu Saud is the most prominent of those who have authority and the upper hand about the function of the eloquent ف (the Arabic Alphabet Faa) in the Holy Quran. It is an extension of what al-Zamakhshari said in this subject, and whoever came after Abu al-Saud has taken from him, and followed him.
