المستخلص: عنوان بحثنا اتحاف الحلفاء في مناقب أول الخلفاء لعبد الله بن إبراهيم بن حسن المعروف بالمحجوب المكي الميرغني (ت 1407ه) دراسة وتحقيق؛ والذي يتناول سيرة الصديق رضي الله عنه وقسمت البحث إلى مقدمة وثلاث عشر مطلبا، والنص المحقق والخاتمة.
المبحث الأول: تناول ترجمة المحجوب الميرغني المكي وذكي وذكر مؤلفاته، عدد قليل من المؤرخين، المطلب الثاني: اسمه وكنيته ولقبه ومولده ونسبته. المطلب الثالث: ولادته ونشأته ومكانته العلمية، وثناء العلماء عليه وصفاته ووفاته. المطلب الرابع: مؤلفاته على حروف المعجم. المطلب الخامس: شيوخه. المطلب السادس: تلاميذه. المطلب السابع: رحلات، عقيدته ومذهبه وأولاده. المطلب الثامن: التعريف بمحتوى الكتاب. المطلب التاسع: منهجه وموارده في كتابه. المطلب العاشر: المآخذ على الكتاب وأهميتها وآراؤه واختياراته في الكتاب. المطلب الحادي عشر: وصف النسخ الخطية للكتاب. المطلب الثاني عشر: نهج العمل في التحقيق. المطلب الثالث عشر: الرموز والمصطلحات التي استخدمتها في تحقيق الكتاب والنص المحقق.

Our research deals with the study and examination of the book under the title of “The Alliance of Allies in respect to the Feats of the First Caliphs” by Abdullah ibn Ibrahim ibn Hasan, known as Mahjoub al-Mukhaki al-Mirghani (d. 1407 AH). It deals with the biography of the As-Siddiq (Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him). The research is divided into a and introduction and thirteen topics, the examined text and the conclusion.
The first topic: It deals with the biography of Mahjoub al-Mirghani al-Makki and his writings were mentioned a few historians. The second topic: His name, agnomen, title, birth and lineage. The third topic is: His birth, upbringing and his knowledge status. The commendation of the scholars upon him, his qualities and his death. The fourth topic: His writings concerning the letters of the lexicon. The fifth topic: The scholars he learnt from. The sixth topic: His students. The seventh topic: His journeys, belief, juristic school of thought and his children. The eighth topic: Familiarization with the contents of the book. The ninth topic: His methodology and his sources in his Book. The tenth topic: References for the book, their importance, opinions and selections in the book. The eleventh topic: Description of the written transcripts of the book. The twelfth topic: The method of work in the investigation. The thirteenth topic: The symbols and terms that you used in the investigation of the book and the investigated text.
