The objective of our paper is to study the interaction between two domains belonging to two different artistic registers in order to focus on and investigate two different issues: the writing and the image in the field of a literary work. We chose as example Nadja from Andre Breton. Our study is based on different perspectives. We shall eventually read the full of imagery and look at the writing. Thus, the image becomes the dialectal correlative of the writing, it becomes the substitute of the transcribed. A relationship of complementarities is then established between them: the word completes the image and conversely, the image gives a sense to the word? L'objectif de notre article est d'étudier l'interaction entre le lisible et le visible, deux domaines appartenant à deux registres esthétiques différents, dans l’espace d’une même œuvre littéraire. Notre choix s’est porté sur Nadja, d'André Breton, où nous avons tâché d’analyser et de confronter ces deux modes d’expression. Nous avons fini par conclure que, dans l’œuvre, l'image devient le substitut du transcrit. Une relation de complémentarité s’instaure alors entre eux: le mot complète l'image et, inversement, l'image donne un sens au mot. |
