إن تكرار العملية الإنتاجية من قبل العاملين له تأثير واضح وملموس على الوقت اللازم للإنتاج، فالخبرة؛ والكفاءة المكتسبة من قبلهم نتيجة لتكرار العمل نتج عنها انخفاض في متوسط الوقت اللازم للإنتاج، الأمر الذي ينعكس على كل من الكلفة المباشرة للعمل والكلف المتغيرة الأخرى المحسوبة على أساس ساعات العمل، وعادة ما يعبر عن هذا الأثر بمنحنى بياني يعرف بمنحنى التعلم. واثبت الدراسات والتجارب السابقة أن وجود هذا الأثر على كلف الإنتاج بشكل عام والكلف المتغيرة بشكل خاص سيزول معه فرض خطية دالة التكاليف بسبب تغير كلفة العمل المباشر للوحدة الواحدة بتغيير حجم النشاط، ومن ثم سيؤثر على الافتراضات التي يقوم عليها القياس المحاسبي للأداء فيما يخص تحديد نقطة التعادل وانحرافات الأجور والتحليل التفاضلي للتكاليف والموازنات التخطيطية. الخ. تنبع أهمية البحث من القياس المحاسبي للأداء في ترشيد قرارات تقييم الأداء والتخطيط والرقابة وتصحيح الانحرافات مما سيؤثر في موضوعية المعلومات التي يمكن أن تقدمها المحاسبة فيما إذا تم الأخذ بذلك الأثر وانعكاس ذلك على دقة وموثوقية المعلومات بالنسبة لمتخذ القرار وبالتالي فإن أي انحراف في هذه المقاييس سيؤدي إلى تضليل تلك القرارات. أما هدف البحث بيان كل من إجراءات تحديد نقطة التعادل وانحرافات الأجور، والتحليل التفاضلي والموازنات التخطيطية، واستنباط أثر منحنى التعلم عليها وبالتالي على القياس المحاسبي للأداء وفقا لتلك الإجراءات، وبيان هذا الأثر موضوعيا في معمل حلويات قمة الإخلاص. وأهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث أن ظاهرة التعلم تعد من أهم المؤشرات التي يمكن استخدامها في التخطيط للعملية الإنتاجية والوقت اللازم للإنتاج ويمكن قياس اثر هذا التعلم رياضيا في المعمل وهذه النتائج سيكون لها الأثر الكبير في القرارات الإدارية التخطيطية والرقابية المستقبلية في الإنتاج، فضلا إلى العديد من الاستنتاجات الأخرى
