المستخلص: Language levels are varied according to their circulation and semantic levels. If the first level is closely related to the communicative role because the desired communication in the communication process is the goal of all parties in this process.
Accordingly, there should be a solid ground with clear foundations, from the principle of humility to the term and the concepts of words and vocabulary and what they express.
Hence the importance of communication in the light of Arabic dictionaries of various kinds, especially scientific ones, and this effectively.
The continuity of access and development and linking it with the contemporary linguistic reality, while searching into the effective content in the dynamics of life that draws us to our identity on the one hand and the outside world, on the other hand, is desirable and required. Language, therefore, is not an organism in a separate world, but a dynamic state of positive interaction and desired reflection.
- What are the possibilities of the language and capacity of its words? What does the word/term express about? And how to use it? And how to think in a language through it. What are the semantics of lexical entries in the Scouts from here is the importance of specialized dictionaries written by leading Arab scholars from covering their field to make it easier for the researcher to access and learn about the terms and their contents.
Through the “kashaf istilahat al-funun”, we have found a number of scientific terms in various scientific fields that have been in mind and need to clarify the lexical entries that have been linked to previous times and keep pace with today.
Therefore, it is necessary to find the specialized dictionaries in the Arabic library for the possibility of adopting them whenever necessary. This will save the researcher the trouble of searching for the term. It will also help the researchers in their various disciplines to deepen and find the rich fields of knowledge presented in an interesting and integrated formulation.
Arrangement of al Kashaf: al kashaf is arranged alphabetically in sections according to the first letters, then the introduction of each section is arranged in chapters in alphabetical sequence, but according to the last letters. In the introduction of (أ د ب), their section is Hamza, and it has only one chapter.

تعددت مستويات اللغة وفقا لتداولها ومستويات الدلالة فيها، وإذا كان المستوي الأول فيها مرتبطا ارتباطا وثيقا بالدور التوصيلي، فإن إحداث التواصل المرغوب تحقيه في العملية التواصلية هدف كل الأطراف في هذه العملية.
وعليه حري من وجود أرضية صلبة ذات أسس واضحة المعالم، من مبدأ التواضع على المصطلح ومفاهيم الألفاظ والمفردات وما تعبر عنه.
ومن هنا تأتي أهمية التواصل في ضوء المعاجم العربية بمختلف أنواعها وخاصة العلمية منها، وهذا بشكل فعال، هذا وان الاستمرارية الاطلاع عليها وتطويرها وربطها بالواقع اللغوي المعاصر، مع البحث في المضامين الفعالة في حركية الحياة التي تشدنا إلى هويتنا من جهة وبالعالم الخارجي من جهة اخري مرغوب ومطلوب، وعليه فاللغة ليست كائنا في عالم منفصل، بل هي حالة دينامية من التفاعل الإيجابي والانعكاس المرغوب فيه.
-فما هي إمكانيات اللغة وحمولة ألفاظها. وعم تعبر الكلمة/ المصطلح. وكيف يوظفها؟ وكيف يفكر باللغة من خلالها. وما هي دلالات المداخل المعجمية في الكشاف من هنا تتجلي أهمية المعاجم المتخصصة التي خلفها كبار العلماء العرب من الإحاطة بمجالها لتسهل للباحث الوصول والتعرف على المصطلحات ومضامينها.
لقد وقفنا من خلال "كشاف اصطلاحات الفنون" على جملة من المصطلحات العلمية في حقول علمية متعددة التي راودت الفكر والتي تحتاج إلى إيضاح المداخل المعجمية التي ارتبطت بالعصور السابقة وتواكب العصر اليوم.
وعليه حري الوقوف على المعاجم المتخصصة في المكتبة العربية لإمكانية اعتمادها كلما دعت الضرورة إلى ذلك، مما يوفر على الباحث عناء البحث عن المصطلح، كما يعين الباحثين في مختلف تخصصاتهم الاستزادة والتعمق والاهتداء إلى ما يضم من الحقول المعرفية الغزيرة المقدمة في صياغة شيقة ومتكاملة.
ترتيب الكشاف: رتب الكشاف ترتيبا هجائيا في أبواب بحسب أوائل الحروف ثم رتب مدخل كل باب في فصول تسلسل ألفبائيا، ولكن تبعا لأواخر الحروف ففي مدخل (أ د ب) بابهما وهو الهمزة وفصلها واحد وهو فصل (الباء).
