المستخلص: The objective of this study was to examine, the causal relationships relationship between financial development and economic growth in Egypt over the period from 1981-2010. Using regression, the Granger-queasily test, and the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) bounds test approach, this study specified four explanatory variables which are represent the financial development based on theoretical underpinnings. The study provides robust empirical evidence of the non-causality hypothesis from financial development indicators to economic growth cannot be rejected in this study.
