المستخلص: With a growing scientific effort to legalize the phenomenon of narrative (in terms of interpretation and understanding), we had to absorb the epistemological origins of narrative theory; that is, those cognitive origins of narrative critical theory. The latter is the theoretical and practical framework on which any narrative study of literary texts is based. To that end, the review of these theoretical and applied origins of narrative science in the context of narrative research becomes a systematic and cognitive necessity so that the research methodology used in the analysis of the narrative phenomenon becomes clearer and the cognitive purpose of the research is more clearly defined. Thus, the methodological view has been established on the need for a brief historical review of narrative theory in its knowledge origins.

في ظل السعي العلمي المتزايد نحو تقنين ظاهرة السرد ) تفسيرا وفهما(، كان لابد علينا استيعاب الأصول الإبيستيمولوجية للنظرية السردية؛ أي تلك الأصول المعرفية للنظرية النقدية السردية، وهذه الأخيرة هي الإطار النظري والتطبيقي الذي تتكئ عليه أي دراسة سردية للنصوص الأدبية. من أجل ذلك فإن استعراض تلك الأصول النظرية والتطبيقية لعلم السرد في سياق البحوث السردية يصبح ضرورة منهجية ومعرفية، وذلك حتى يتضح بصورة أكثر عمقا منهج البحث المتبع في تحليل ظاهرة السرد، وحتى يتضح أكثر الهدف المعرفي الذي يسعى إليه البحث، وعليه فقد استقر الرأي المنهجي على ضرورة الاستعراض التاريخي الموجز للنظرية السردية في أصولها المعرفية

A la lumière du développement scientifique, le phénomène narratif tend aussi vers la scientificité tant pour l’explication que pour la compréhension. Pour comprendre ce phénomène, il nous a fallu un retour aux origines épistémologique de la théorie narrative; autrement dit aux origines cognitives de la théorie critique narrative. Cette dernière forme le cadre théorique et pratique sur lequel se base toute étude narratologique. A cet effet la présentation de ces origines théoriques et pratiques de la narratologie deviendra une obligation méthodologique et cognitive. Ainsi dire et pour élucider la méthode menait dans l’analyse du phénomène narratologique, et pour éclaircir le but de la recherche scientifique, et avoir un avis méthodologique comme conclusion il était nécessaire de retracer l’histoire de la théorie narratologique par ses origines épistémologiques.
