المستخلص: The aim of the research is to prepare a list of the most important requirements of environmental awareness in the science books for the first cycle of the basic education stage, and to know whether these requirements are available in the science book for the fourth grade. To achieve the first objective, the researcher prepared a list of the most important requirements of environmental awareness in science books for the first cycle of basic education. This list was finalized after being judged by three main requirements: protecting the environment, rationalizing the consumption of environmental resources, And respect for its manifestations, falls under it [24] a sub requirement. To achieve the second objective, the researcher designed a list of analysis of the content of the book of science for the fourth grade in the light of the requirements of previous environmental awareness by adopting the idea of a unit of analysis and converting the requirements of sub-environmental awareness into categories of analysis. The final list consisted of (3) (8) Subcategories. After verifying the validity and consistency of the analysis list, the researcher applied it to the target book in its first and second chapters. The results showed that the degree of availability of environmental awareness requirements in the science book for the fourth grade was high. The total frequency of requirements was (1535), and the main requirement (rationalization of environmental resource consumption) was highest in the science book for the fourth grade. Recorded (933) times, a percentage of (60.78). Followed by the main requirement (awareness of environmental concepts and respect for their manifestations); it recorded (367) times, a percentage of (23.90). The most basic requirements included include (environmental protection); it was recorded 235 times, with a percentage of (15.30). Based on the results of the research, the researcher presented a number of proposals related to the need to introduce the requirements of environmental awareness in the preparation of science books, and the need for further studies in this area.

هدف البحث إلى إعداد قائمة بأهم متطلبات الوعي البيئي في كتب العلوم لصفوف الحلقة الأولى من مرحلة التعليم الأساسي، وإلى تعرف مدى توفر هذه المتطلبات في كتاب العلوم للصف الرابع الأساسي. وتحقيقا للهدف الأول، أعدت الباحثة قائمة بأهم متطلبات الوعي البيئي في كتب العلوم لصفوف الحلقة الأولى من مرحلة التعليم الأساسي، تكونت هذه القائمة في صورتها النهائية بعد تحكيمها من (3) متطلبات رئيسة، هي: حماية البيئة، وترشيد استهلاك موارد البيئة، والوعي بالمفاهيم البيئية واحترام مظاهرها، يندرج تحتها (24) متطلبا فرعيا. ولتحقيق الهدف الثاني، صممت الباحثة قائمة تحليل محتوى كتاب العلوم للصف الرابع الأساسي في ضوء متطلبات الوعي البيئي السابقة باعتماد الفكرة وحدة تحليل، وتحويل متطلبات الوعي البيئي الفرعية إلى فئات تحليل، فكانت القائمة بصورتها النهائية تتكون من (3) متطلبات رئيسة، تندرج تحت كل منها (8) فئات فرعية. وبعد التأكد من صدق قائمة التحليل وثباتها، قامت الباحثة بتطبيقها على الكتاب المستهدف بفصليه الأول والثاني. وقد أظهرت النتائج أن درجة توفر متطلبات الوعي البيئي في كتاب العلوم للصف الرابع الأساسي كانت عالية؛ إذ إن مجموع تكرارات المتطلبات بلغ (1535)، وأن المتطلب الرئيسي (ترشيد استهلاك الموارد البيئية) حصل على أعلى نسبة تضمين في كتاب العلوم للصف الرابع الأساسي؛ إذ سجل (933) تكرارا، بنسبة مئوية بلغت (60.78). يليه المتطلب الرئيسي (الوعي بالمفاهيم البيئية واحترام مظاهرها)؛ إذ سجل (367) تكرارا، بنسبة مئوية بلغت (23.90). وأن أقل المتطلبات الرئيسة تضمينا، هو (حماية البيئة)؛ إذ سجل (235) تكرارا، بنسبة مئوية بلغت (15.30). وبناء على نتائج البحث قدمت الباحثة مجموعة من المقترحات تتعلق بضرورة الأخذ بمتطلبات الوعي البيئي عند إعداد كتب العلوم، وضرورة إجراء المزيد من الدراسات في هذا المجال.
