ساهم الخطاب الحداثي العربي بقوة في النقاش الجاري حول تجديد الخطاب الديني، وذلك من منظور نقدي يهدف إلى إعادة قراءة المفاهيم الدينية والاجتهادات التراثية باستخدام مناهج العلوم الإنسانية في تحليل خطاب التفسير الهرمنيوطيقي وقواعده في تحليل النصوص الدينية بما يخدم أجندته المعرفية الهادفة إلي تقديم تفسيرات تتوافق مع القيم الليبرالية والحداثة الغربية. هذا البحث هو محاولة استكشافية لبعض الجوانب المعرفية التي احتلت أولوية ضمن اهتمام الخطاب الحداثي العربي، وتم التركيز فيه على الجوانب التالية: (1) إبراز الخلفيات المرجعية التي أطرت مجموع الأطروحات الفكرية التي يروج لها الخطاب الحداثي العربي. (2) رصد بعض التحولات المنهجية التي عرفها الخطاب الحداثي العربي في مقارباته النقدية. (3) تحليل التأويلات التي قدمها الخطاب الحداثي العربي للثوابت المتعلقة بمجال الألوهية. (4) تحليل التأويلات التي قدمها الخطاب الحداثي العربي للثوابت المتعلقة بمصادر المعرفة. (5) تحليل التأويلات التي قدمها الخطاب الحداثي العربي للثوابت المتعلقة بمجال التشريع. (6) تحليل التأويلات التي قدمها الخطاب الحداثي العربي للثوابت المتعلقة بالمجال الأخلاقي.
The Arab modernist discourse has strongly contributed to the debate on the renewal of religious discourse. Based on a critical perspective, the aim of those modernists has always been to re-read religious concepts and Islamic intellectual heritage in alignment with the methodologies of social sciences and humanities. By applying the tools of discourse analysis and the rules of hermeneutical interpretation they seek to, indirectly, serve some of their own intellectual agenda, that is, to provide modern interpretations that are consistent with liberal values that Western modernity advocates. This paper is an exploratory attempt to identify some of the cognitive aspects that have gained and advanced position within the research agenda of modern Arab discourse. It will focus on the following aspects: 1. Highlighting the background settings that overarched the entire intellectual theses promoted by the modern Arab discourse. 2. Monitoring some of the methodological transformations that the modern Arab discourse has gone through, 3. Analyzing some interpretations presented by the modern Arab discourse in areas related to the fundamentals of Islamic beliefs (or theology), 4. Analyzing some interpretations presented by the Arab modernist discourse related to the Islamic fundamental sources of knowledge. 5. Analyzing some interpretations presented by the modern Arab discourse related to the fundamentals of Islamic legislation. 6. Analyzing some interpretations presented by the Arab modernist discourse related to the fundamental principles of the Islamic moral system.
