تكمن أهمية البحث في إعداد برنامج حاسوبي بنظام (فيجول بيسك) يتضمن أسئلة لمواد القانون بكرة اليد معد لاختبار الطلاب والذين شاركوا في الدورات التحكيمية لكي يقودوا المباريات ويتأهلوا لكي يصبحوا حكام، حيث أن هذا البرنامج يخدم المؤسسات التربوية والتعليمية والرياضية في إعداد أسئلتهم وفق هذا البرنامج والحد من عدم مصداقية النتائج المرجوة من الاختبارات التحصيلية المعتمدة على الورق والقلم كون النتائج التي يحصل عليها المختبر تكون دقيقة ولا يمكن التلاعب بها ومعد وفق مصفوفة إحصائية رياضية، وبالتالي السعي إلى تقدم وتطوير مستوى الأشخاص المعدين لكي يصبحوا حكام مؤهلين لإدارة المباريات بنجاح خدمة للرياضة بصورة عامة وكرة اليد بصورة خاصة. لقد تم تطبيق البرنامج على عينة من طلاب المرحلة الرابعة والبالغ عددهم (٢٠) وتم استحصال نتائجهم وتفريغ بياناتهم ومعالجتها إحصائيا قبل وبعد الخضوع للدورة التحكيمية، وأوصى الباحثون بضرورة تعميم هذه التجربة في المؤسسات التربوية والجامعية والاتحادات الرياضية بغية الاستفادة منها والخروج عن التقليد في الاختبارات التحصيلية والدورات التي تعملها الاتحادات الرياضية والتي تكلف الدول مبالغ كبيرة وتتطلب جهد من قبل العاملين عليها وتكون ذات مردود ليس بالجيد كل هذا يوفره البرنامج الحاسوبي المعد في هذا البحث ومن الممكن استخدامه في جميع المجالات التربوية والتعليمية والرياضية، ومن هنا جاءت أهمية البحث في الكشف عن القدرات التحصيلية للطلاب في مواد القانون لكي يقودوا المباريات بنجاح نتيجة لمعرفتهم وإلمامهم بمواد القانون بشكل تفصيلي جراء خضوعهم للاختبارات التحصيلية قيد البحث.
