المستخلص: Les linguistes modernes ont pris la tâche du renouvellement des dictionnaires arabes, reflétant dans ce domaine des tentatives sérieuses telles que : les efforts de l'Académie de Langue arabe au Caire ayant essayé de réaliser un dictionnaire moderne élaboré selon les plus importantes théories et principes linguistiques, à savoir la maitrise et le développement de la langue ainsi que l'utilisation de l'approche descriptive. Dans cette perspective, le dictionnaire El-Wassit a fait le corpus de notre étude.

the Modern linguists have taken the task of renewal of Arabic dictionary, reflecting in this field serious attempts to remember: What you will see the Arabic Language Academy in Cairo, who tried to make a modern dictionary to this language, based on the most important linguistic theories and principles, such as the mastery and development of the language, and the use of the descriptive approach, and application of the most important theories of modern description in the industry dictionary, these ideas we will try to apply in the dictionary elwasit.

لقد أخذ اللغويون المحدثون على عاتقهم مهمة تجديد المعاجم العربية، فظهرت في هذا المجال محاولات جادة نذكر منها: ما قام به مجمع اللغة العربية بالقاهرة، الذي حاول صناعة معجم لغوي معاصر، يستند إلى أهم ما طرحته اللسانيات الحديثة من مبادئ ونظريات، مثل مبدأ الاستعمال، وقضية التطور اللغوي، واستخدام المنهج الوصفي، وتطبيق أهم النظريات اللسانية الحديثة في صناعة المعاجم، وهو ما سنبينه من خلال التطبيق الذي سنجريه على المعجم الوسيط.
