| 520 | |b The aim of this research is to determine the nature of the causality relationship between the exports and the growth Economic in Algeria during the period 1966-2015 using yearly data. This relationship is obtained using granger causality techniques. The analysis of the results show that the exports and the gross domestic product series become stationary after taken the first different; also there is not co-integration relationship between exports and gross domestic product in long run. The causality tests based on VAR indicate that there is a uni-directional causality relationship running from export at s to gross domestic product in both the long and short run. And The results of the variance decompositions and the impulse response functions high light the relative important role played by exports in the fluctuation of the GDP. This result coincides of the causal relationship that runs from the exports to gross domestic product in Algeria which reflects the promising role of exports in the future in determining the growth rate of the economy. | ||
