أن للأسرة وسلامة تكوينها أهمية كبيرة في المجتمع، ولا تقوم إلا على الزواج، وقد حدثت تحولات اجتماعية على واقع مجتمع محافظة البصرة ساهمت بصورة أو بأخرى في التأثير على زيادة حالات الطلاق في هذا المجتمع خاصة في السنوات الأخيرة. والهدف من هذا البحث هو معرفة التغيرات الاجتماعية المؤثرة في زيادة حالات الطلاق ومدى تباينها بين الوحدات الإدارية لعام 2013. واستخدمت عينة للدراسة بلغت (534) حالة، حيث طبقت على إجاباتها بعض الطرق الإحصائية لمعرفة مدى تأثير الخصائص الاجتماعية على حالات الطلاق التي وقعت بينها، وتم دراسة هذه الخصائص عبر عدة متغيرات أهما (الحالة التعليمية، طريقة الزواج، حالة السكن)، وظهرت نتائج الدراسة بأن هناك علاقة ارتباط بين هذه المتغيرات وارتفاع أو انخفاض حالات الطلاق في محافظة البصرة. وعليه ولغرض الحد من هذه الظاهرة يجب أن يفعل دور الدولة والمؤسسات الحكومية والمنظمات الإنسانية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني في حل كثير من المشاكل التي تتعرض لها الأسرة خاصة في حل مشكلة البطالة وتوفير السكن الملائم للمتزوجين، وكذلك في تثقيف المجتمع في مدى أهمية الأسرة وبناءها بالصورة الصحيحة.
For the family and its safety, a great importance in society which is not only build on marry. There have been social transformations on the society of Basra which contributed in one form or another in effecting on increased divorce in this particular society within the last years. The aim of this research is to know the social changes affecting in increasing divorce cases as well as the extent of their variability among the administrative units for 2013. The study sample was (534) cases where applied to their answers some statistical methods to see how much effect the social characteristics on divorce cases that occurred between them, these characteristics were studied across several variables (Educational Status, the method of marriage, housing status), The results of the study showed that, there is a correlation between these variables of high or low divorce cases in the province of Basra. Accordingly, for the purpose of reducing this phenomenon must activate the role of the government, the government institutions, the humanitarian organizations and the civil society organizations to solve many problems which are exposed to the family especially in solving the problem of unemployment and providing adequate housing for married couples, as well as in educating the community in how important the family is and importance of built it correctly.
