يواجه قادة المدارس العديد من الضغوط الهائلة التي تتعلق بالميزانية ومشكلات المعلمين، ومشكلات الطلاب وغيرها من المشكلات التربوية، والتي تستلزم ضرورة فهم هؤلاء القادة هذه المشكلات والتحديات من أجل تلبية احتياجات المجتمع الخارجي وتحقيق طموحاته وتوقعاته. ومن هنا أصبحت مؤسساتنا التعليمية والتي منها المدارس الثانوية العامة بحاجة إلى نوعية معينة من القادة لديهم مهارات وكفايات الذكاء العاطفي والتي تمكنهم من إيجاد حلول ابتكارية وغير مألوفة للعديد من المشكلات التي تواجه هذه المؤسسات، وهو ما سوف يمكنهم من تحسين أدائهم القيادي في العديد من المجالات. وسوف يركز هذا البحث على أهمية الذكاء العاطفي في تنمية أداء مديري المدرسة الثانوية العامة بمصر في ثلاثة مجالات قيادية وهي القيادة المجتمعية وقيادة العدالة الاجتماعية والقيادة الأخلاقية، والتي تساعد على تحقيق جودة المخرجات التعليمية. ويهدف البحث الحالي في الوقوف على الأسس الفكرية للذكاء العاطفي وأبرز نماذجه وعلاقته بتحسين الأداء القيادي لمديري المدارس، بالإضافة إلى التعرف على الواقع الراهن للجهود المبذولة من قبل وزارة التربية والتعليم لتحسين أداء قيادات المدرسة الثانوية العامة بمصر، وذلك للتوصل إلى نموذج مقترح لتحسين الأداء القيادي لمديري المدرسة الثانوية العامة بمصر في ضوء الذكاء العاطفي. وحتى يحقق البحث الأهداف السالف ذكرها فقد اعتمد على المنهج الوصفي بالإضافة إلى الاستعانة بأسلوب دلفي، والذي تم تطبيقه على ثلاثة جولات على عينة عددها 52 من الخبراء الاكاديميين والتربويين، وتوصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج والتي من أبرزها أن مهارات الذكاء العاطفي تزيد من قدرة مدير المدرسة على تحقيق العدالة الاجتماعية والرضا الوظيفي بين المعلمين، كما أنها تجعله أكثر تفهم لمشاعر الآخرين وبالتالي سهولة التأثير عليهم، بالإضافة إلى أن مهارة العلاقات العامة تساعده على إيجاد فرص لشراكة مجتمعية ناجحة، كما أن مهارة الوعي الاجتماعي تمكنه من إقامة علاقات ناجحة مع أولياء الأمور، كما أظهرت النتائج كذلك قصور برامج التدريب في إكساب المديرين لمهارات الذكاء العاطفي .
School leaders face enormous budgetary pressures, teachers' problems, student problems and other educational problems, which require that these leaders understand these problems and challenges in order to meet the needs of the external community and achieve its aspirations and expectations. This is why our educational institutions, including public secondary schools, need a certain quality of leaders with the skills and competencies of emotional intelligence that will enable them to find innovative and unfamiliar solutions to many of the problems facing these institutions, which will enable them to improve their leadership in many areas. This research will focus on the importance of emotional intelligence in the development of the performance of the general secondary school principals in Egypt in three areas of leadership: community leadership, leadership of social justice and moral leadership, which helps to achieve the quality of educational outputs. The current research aims to identify the intellectual bases of emotional intelligence and its most prominent models and its relation to improving the leadership performance of school principals, in addition to the current reality of the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Education to improve the performance of the high school leaders in Egypt. High School in Egypt in the light of emotional intelligence. In order to achieve the above objectives, the research was based on the descriptive approach in addition to the use of Delphi method, which was applied to three rounds on a sample of 27 academic and educational experts. The research reached a set of results, most notably that emotional intelligence skills increase the ability of the school principal To achieve social justice and job satisfaction among teachers, and it makes him more understanding of the feelings of others and thus easy to influence them, In addition, the skills of public relations help to create opportunities for successful community partnership, and the skill of social awareness enables him to establish successful relationships with parents. The results also revealed the lack of training programs in providing managers with emotional intelligence skills.
