المستخلص: This study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between theft and some of the personality characteristics (neurotic, mental, diastolic, and lying) of the juvenile delinquent. We conducted a field study on a group of 31 juvenile delinquents present at the Special Protection Centre in the State of Tlemcen. In this study, the descriptive analytical approach was used, based on the Iznik scale, form, interview, and observation. The following problem was raised: Are the personality traits identified in previous studies, namely neurotic, mental, diastolic, and lying, behind the deviant behavior of the juvenile delinquent?
The results found that the degrees of mental, diastolic, and lying were high in all juvenile delinquents (burglars), and the degrees of neurotic characteristics were low. Finally, based on these findings, we came up with a set of recommendations and suggestions.

Cette étude avait pour but de connaitre la relation entre les traits de la personnalité (l’extraversion, névrotisme, psychotisme, mensonge) que les chercheurs ont mis en évidence dans leurs recherches antérieures et le vol comme conduite délictuelle, ainsi que les circonstances qui ont contribué au développement de cette personnalité délinquante chez une population composée de 31 jeunes délinquants placés dans le centre de protection des mineurs à Hennaya wilaya de Tlemcen.
Pour cela, nous avons choisi l’approche descriptive analytique, et appliqué le questionnaire de personnalité d’Eysenck.
Les résultats ont montré que le degré du trait de la psychose, de l’extraversion et du mensonge étaient très élevé chez tous les délinquants juvéniles, et que le trait névrotisme était faible. Ces résultats ont été discutés à la lumière des études antérieures et la littérature théorique.

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على طبيعة العلاقة الموجودة بين السرقة وبعض سمات الشخصية (العصابية، الذهانية، الانبساطية، الكذب) لدى الحدث الجانح. قمنا بدراسة ميدانية على مجموعة من الأحداث الجانحين المتواجدين بمركز الخاص بالحماية بولاية تلمسان والذي بلغ عددهم 31 حدثا. تم في هذه الدراسة استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، بالاعتماد على مقياس أيزنك، الاستمارة، المقابلة والملاحظة. طرحت الإشكالية التالية: هل سمات الشخصية التي توصلت إليها الدراسات السابقة والمتمثلة في العصابية، الذهانية، الانبساطية والكذب تقف وراء السلوك المنحرف والمتمثل في السرقة لدى الحدث الجانح؟
توصلت النتائج إلى أن درجات سمة الذهانية، الانبساطية والكذب كانت عالية عند جميع الأحداث الجانحين (السراق)، وكانت درجات سمة العصابية منخفضة. في الأخير وبناءا على هذه النتائج خلصنا إلى مجموعة من التوصيات والاقتراحات.
