يقوم هذا البحث على رسائل واتس أب التي تم تبادلها بين الباحث وبين مجموعة من الأساتذة الجامعيين المتخصصين في اللغة العربية من قسمي اللغة والأدب، وبما أنهم على مستوى عال من التخصص فإنهم يشكلون عينة ممتازة من متحدثي اللغة ومستعمليها، وهم بهذا يتمايزون عن مستعملي اللغة من العوام وغير المتخصصين من عامة المثقفين العرب الذين ينشرون على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي أو يستخدمون وسائل النشر العام وتطبيقات الأجهزة الذكية كتطبيق واتس أب الذي استعمله الباحث أو غيره من التطبيقات. وقد اختار الباحث رسائل تطبيق واتس أب لما فيه من حيوية وكثرة في عدد مرات الاستخدام؛ ولأن الباحث يستطيع التواصل بنفسه مع زملائه الأساتذة دون وساطة، مما يجعل الرسائل أقرب إلى العفوية وعدم التكلف، وهذا هو المطلوب في الدراسات التي تستهدف اللغة أن تؤخذ من أفواه الناطقين بها بعيدا عن التكلف والصنعة، وهذا ما قام به علماء العربية الأوائل عندما شدوا الرحال إلى البوادي ليسمعوا العربية من العرب كما ينطقون بها دون كلفة أو صنعة، ودون أن يشعروا أن أحدا يراقب نطقهم. ويقوم البحث على رصد السلوك اللغوي لأساتذة اللغة والأدب من خلال رصد مدى التزام كل من الفريقين بقواعد اللغة ومعايير الفصاحة والصحة اللغوية، من خلال معايير وضعها الباحث تتعلق باستخدام الألفاظ الأجنبية والألفاظ العامية الخاصة بدولة كل أستاذ، والوقوع في أخطاء نحوية أو إملائية أو لغوية... ثم تمثيل ذلك إحصائيا لتبيين أوجه الشبه والخلاف بين الفريقين.
This research is based on Whats App messages that are exchanged between the researcher and a group of university professors who are specialized in Arabic from the divisions of language and literature, and since they are at a high level of specialization, they constitute an excellent sample of the speakers of the language and its users. Thus, they are distinguished language users different from the common folk and other common Arab intellectuals who publish their communications on social media or use public publishing applications such as Whats App, which was used by the researcher in this study. The researcher has chosen Whats App messages because it is a vital and frequently used application which the present researcher could use for communication with his fellow professors unlimited and unmediated- a feature that makes the messages more spontaneous and less affectated. Research is required to target language in natural settings by word of mouth of its speakers to no affectation or pretense as was the case with early Arabs who used to travel to the wilderness to acquire standard Arabic from Bedouins uninterrupted by monitoring. This study monitors the linguistic behavior of the professors of Arabic language and literature through the examination of the commitment of both groups to the rules of language and standards of eloquence and linguistic correctness. This was done by the researcher having conceptualized a set of criteria regarding the use of foreign words and slang vocabulary for each case by classifying the grammatical, orthographic and linguistic errors, then analyzing these errors statistically to demonstrate the similarities and differences between the two groups.
