المستخلص: There is a lack of studies which focus on Knowledge Economy and Human Capital in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This research will contribute to the scientific era with an analytical study about the position of Bahrain in Knowledge Economy, depending on how the Human Capital improved and developed during the past decades. This study considered obtaining the role of Human Capital as an essential element of Knowledge Economy and its role in improving the economic performance of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the period (2000-2015). The study attempted to highlight the importance of Human Capital as an economic resource to transform the national economy of Bahrain from resource-based economy to knowledge-based economy which contributes to achieving economic growth. The research is quantitative in nature and considering GDP per Capita as the dependent variable, where independent variables are Years of Schooling, Life Expectancy, and health expenditure percentage per capita. The data collected for the period (2000-2015) from global organizations such as World Bank, UNDP, Weforum, and OCED. The data were analyzed using analytical and statistical instruments, such as descriptive analysis, and correlation coefficient applied to demonstrate the relationship between the variables. Moreover, multiple linear regression applied to build a prediction regression equation of the study variables and to measure the impact of independent variables on GDP per Capita. The results of the research found that Year of Schooling, Average Life Expectancy and Health Expenditure per Capita are main elements of Human Capital and they positively correlated with GDP per Capita. Moreover, the study model is statistically significant. Also showed there is relation between the Year of Schooling and Life Expectancy Year.
