نظرا لأهمية برنامج جامعة الطفل حيث أنه يعمل على إعداد الأطفال لمواجهة التحديات المستقبلية، وتعزيز اهتماماتهم طويلة المدى الخاصة بعملية التعلم، وتعزيز احترام الذات، والثقة بالنفس، وبناء الشخصية، فضلا عن اكتشاف المبتكرين والمخترعين من بينهم، واحتضانهم، وتقديم الدعم الفني والمادي ليكونوا (علماء المستقبل). ومساعدتهم على تحديد الأهداف المستقبلية، والتأكيد عليها، وتحقيقها وضمان إتاحة كافة الأنشطة التعليمية ذات الجودة المرتفعة لكن طفل بغض النظر عن خلفيته الاجتماعية ودعم العلوم، والتكنولوجيا، والهندسة، والرياضيات، في مصر. وتعزيز العلاقة الارتباطية بين الأطفال والجامعات المحيطة بهم في المناطق المجاورة، وزيادة الوعي الخاص بالفوائد والفرص الخاصة بالتعليم العالي، ولا سيما بالنسبة للطلاب الذين يمثلون قطاعات المجتمع الأقل حظا. إلا أن واقع برنامج جامعة الطفل في مصر يشير إلى بعض المعوقات والتي من بينها: قلة الإعلان والتوعية الكافية بالبرنامج للمدارس وأولياء الأمور، ونقص التمويل الكافي للبرنامج، وطول الفترة التي يصل فيها الدعم من الجامعة، وقلة الأماكن المجهزة لاستقبال الأطفال بالجامعات وغيرها. ولتحقيق ذلك ينبغي الأخذ بخبرات الدول التي نجحت جامعاتها في تطبيق برنامج جامعة الطفل، والاستفادة منها في مصر بما يتسق مع السياق الثقافي المصري لتحسين جودة الخدمة المقدمة منها، والتغلب على مشكلاتها وزيادة فاعليتها. وعليه فقد ركزت الدراسة الحالية على إجراءات تفعيل برنامج جامعة الطفل بمصر في ضوء خبرات كل من جامعات بريطانيا وألمانيا.
In view of the importance of the University of the Child program as it prepares children to meet future challenges, enhance their long-term interests in the learning process, and promote self-esteem, self-confidence, and personality building, as well as the discovery and incubation of innovators and inventors, the future). And to help them define, confirm, and achieve future goals and ensure that all high quality educational activities are available to every child regardless of his social background and support for science, technology, engineering and mathematics in Egypt. Strengthen the link between children and surrounding universities in neighboring areas, and increase awareness of benefits and opportunities for higher education, especially for students who represent disadvantaged sectors of society. However, the reality of the program of the University of the Child in Egypt refers to some obstacles, including: lack of awareness and awareness of the program for schools and parents, lack of adequate funding for the program, the length of the period of support from the university, and the lack of places equipped to receive children in universities and others. In order to achieve this, the experiences of countries whose universities have succeeded in implementing the University of the Child Program should be introduced and utilized in Egypt in line with the Egyptian cultural context to improve the quality of service provided by them and overcome their problems and increase their effectiveness. Therefore, the current study focused on the procedures of activating the program of the University of the Child in Egypt in the light of the experiences of both the universities of Britain and Germany.
