This research aimed at identifying the occupational self and its relation to the achievement motivation of the high secondary schools’ psychologists in Khartoum state. The researcher followed the descriptive method. The total sample number was (77) and the number of females (67) and the number of males (10). The researcher used the occupational self, and the achievement motivation measures, based on the measures of some previous studies, and used) SPSS program, from which the test (T), the mean, the Pearson coefficient, and the) Anova test were used. The results of the study showed that the occupational self and the achievement motivation variables of the psychologists in high secondary schools in Khartoum State are characterized by a high degree. There is a positive relationship between the occupational self and the achievement motivation. There are also no significant differences in the occupational self of the high secondary schools’ psychologists in Khartoum state due to gender variable Level of training. Based on these results, the researcher recommended and proposes mainly: provision of specialized training courses for psychologists in their field aimed at all aspects that related to their work, designing of a training program aimed at developing all dimensions of the occupational self of the psychologists in high secondary schools.
هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الذات المهنية وعلاقتها بدافعية الانجاز لدى المرشدين النفسيين في المدارس الثانوية بولاية الخرطوم. اتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وبلغ عدد العينة الكلي (77) وبلغ عدد الاناث (67) وعدد الذكور (10). واستخدم الباحث مقياس الذات المهنية، و ومقياس دافعيـة الإنجاز، واستخدم برنامج (SPSS) حيث استخدم من تلك الحزم اختبار (ت) والمتوسطات ومعامل ارتباط (بيرسون) واختبار (Anova). واظهرت نتائج الدراسة ان متغيري الذات المهنية، والدافعية للإنجاز لدى المرشدين النفسيين في المدارس الثانوية بولاية الخرطوم يتسمان بارتفاع دال، وتوجد علاقة طردية دالة بين الذات المهنية والدافعية للإنجاز، كما لا توجد فروق دالة في الذات المهنية للمرشدين النفسيين في المدارس الثانوية بولاية الخرطوم تعزى لمتغير النوع ومتغير مستوى التدريب. وبناءا على هذه النتـائج كانت أهم التوصيات: توفير دورات تدريبية تخصصية للمرشدين في مجالهم يستهدف جميع المحاور التي تتعلق بعملهم، وتصميم برنامج تدريبي يهدف لتنمية ابعاد الذات المهنية للمرشدين النفسيين في المدارس الثانوية.
