|b Our study revealed the different strategies that the Bank of Algeria can adopt to reinforce the competitiveness of Algerian public banks in order to ensure their survival and their durability, especially since these banks occupy an important place in the structure of the Algerian banking system. Moreover, it faces the competition of private banks after the promulgation of the law of money and credit which paved the way for the creation of private banks and the opening of branches of foreign banks in Algeria
