المستخلص: The current study aims to study the role of social support in reducing the degree of depression in women with breast cancer. In order to achieve this goal, three hypotheses have been formulated. One general hypothesis that seeks to reveal whether there is a statistically significant relationship between social support and reduction of depression in women with breast cancer and two partial hypotheses seek to show whether there is a statistically significant relationship between the dimensions of social support (availability and satisfaction with support) and the reduction of depression in women with breast cancer. This study is a part of the associative descriptive studies on a sample of 40 women with breast cancer, aged between 40 and 50 years.
As far as the tools, we have used the social support questionnaire developed by Sarason and his team as well as the Beck 2 scale of depression on the Algerian environment. The results of the analysis of the data of this study revealed a statistically significant relationship between social support and reduction in the degree of depression in women with breast cancer also there is a statistically significant relationship between the dimensions of social support (availability of support and satisfaction with it) and the reduction of depression in women with breast cancer.

L’étude actuelle vise à étudier le rôle du soutien social dans l’atténuation de la dépression chez les patientes atteintes du cancer du sein. Pour réaliser cet objectif, trois hypothèses ont été formulées, l’hypothèse générale qui vise à chercher s’il existe une relation statistiquement significative entre le soutien social et l’atténuation de la dépression chez les patientes atteintes du cancer du sein, les hypothèses secondaires qui visent à chercher s’il existe une relation statistiquement significative entre les dimensions du soutien social (la disponibilité du soutien social et la satisfaction au soutien social) et l’atténuation de la dépression chez les patientes atteintes du cancer du sein.
Cette étude s’inscrit dans le cadre des études descriptives corrélationnelles, sur un échantillon composé de 40 femmes atteintes du cancer du sein, de 40 à 50 ans. Nous avons utilisé la deuxième version du Social Support questionnaire (SSQ6) et le test de Beck2 pour la dépression qui ont été adaptés sur l’environnement algérien.
L’analyse des données de cette étude a montré l’existence d’une relation statistiquement significative entre le soutien social et l’atténuation de la dépression chez les patientes atteintes du cancer du sein, ainsi que l’existence d’une relation statistiquement significative entre les dimensions du soutien social (la disponibilité du soutien social et la satisfaction au soutien social) et l’atténuation de la dépression chez les patientes atteintes du cancer du sein.

تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى دراسة دور المساندة الاجتماعية في التخفيض من درجة الاكتئاب لدى النساء المصابات بسرطان الثدي. ومن أجل تحقيق هذا الهدف، تمت صياغة ثلاث فرضيات، فرضية عامة تسعى للكشف عن ما إذا توجد علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المساندة الاجتماعية والتخفيض من درجة الاكتئاب لدى النساء المصابات بسرطان الثدي، وفرضيتين جزئيتين تسعيان للكشف عن ما إذا توجد علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين أبعاد المساندة الاجتماعية (توفر المساندة والرضا عنها) والتخفيض من درجة الاكتئاب لدى النساء المصابات بسرطان الثدي. تدخل هذه الدراسة في إطار الدراسات الوصفية الارتباطية، على عينة قوامها 40 امرأة مصابات بسرطان الثدي، بحيث تتراوح أعمارهن ما بين 40 و50 سنة.
بالنسبة للأدوات المستعملة، استعننا باستبيان المساندة الاجتماعية الذي وضعه سارازون وجماعته، وكذلك مقياس بيك 2 للاكتئاب والكيفان على البيئة الجزائرية. أسفرت نتائج تحليل معطيات هذه الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المساندة الاجتماعية والتخفيض من درجة الاكتئاب لدى النساء المصابات بسرطان الثدي، وكذلك إلى وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين أبعاد المساندة الاجتماعية (توفر المساندة والرضا عنها) والتخفيض من درجة الاكتئاب لدى النساء المصابات بسرطان الثدي.
