المستخلص: This study deals with the image of Islam through the Western media discourse using the content analysis tool. We have chosen the events that took place in France, known as the case of Charlie Hebdo, and the assault to which this satirical magazine was subjected by the Kwaashi brothers. The Al-Qaeda organization had embraced this terrorist act, which led the Western press to reengage with the issue of Islam as the engine or actor in the Charlie Hebdo case.
And because the case took place in France, we deliberately chose the French press, specifically the monthly known “le monde diplomatique” In this research, we analyzed all the information materials contained in the February 2015 issue related to the same issue, with the aim of revealing the image of Islam through the Western media discourse through the French press model.

تتناول هذه الدراسة صورة الإسلام من خلال الخطاب الإعلامي الغربي وهذا باستعمال أداة تحليل المضمون وقد وقع اختيارنا على الاحداث التي حصلت في فرنسا والتي باتت تعرف بقضية "شارلي ايبدو" والاعتداء الذي تعرضت له هذه المجلة الساخرة من قبل الأخوين كواشي، وتبني تنظيم القاعدة هذا العمل الإرهابي ما جعل الصحافة الغربية تخوض مجددا في موضوع الإسلام، باعتباره المحرك أو الفاعل في قضية "شارلي ايبدو".
ولان القضية دارت أحداثها في فرنسا تعمدنا اختيار الصحافة الفرنسية وتحديدا الشهرية المعروفة "le monde diplomatique"، وقمنا في هذا البحث بتحليل كل المواد الإعلامية الواردة في عدد فيفري 2015 المتعلقة بذات القضية، بهدف الكشف عن صورة الإسلام عبر الخطاب الإعلامي الغربي من خلال أنموذج الصحافة الفرنسية.

Cette étude porte sur lʹ image de lʹislam à travers le discours médiatique occidental on utilisant l’analyse de contenu comme utile de recherche ¸ nous avons sélectionné les événements qui ont lieu en France connu par " lʹaffaire Charlie Hebdo " et qui ont secoué ce magazine satirique ,dont les exécuteurs sont les deux frères kouachi ,cet acte terroriste a été revendiqué par el Qaida ce qui a fait que la presse occidentale a abordé de nouveau le sujet de lʹislam puisque cʹest le premier acteur dans ses événements.
Et puisque ses événements ont eu lieu en France , nous avons choisis la presse française et plus exactement le mensuel " le monde diplomatique " , nous avons analysé tout les articles du numéro de février 2015 de ce mensuel qui portent sur cet affaire ,dans le but de détecter lʹimage de lʹislam à travers le discours médiatique occidentale .
