المستخلص: The study is related to the treatment of the issue of the woman's ambition within Eliot's Adam Bede and Samman's The Night of the First Billion. However, in spite of the different ages, nationalities, and traditions, the two writers have similar audacious daring in somewhat to present the hidden internals of the of woman (the femininity), love, sex, social, political, psychological and the contradictory issues. Besides, the selection is also based on the realism that they adopt. Accordingly, the study discusses this subject within four parts preceded by a brief introduction. So it is firstly concerned with the writers' beginnings, biographies, works, styles, effectors, reflection and detection of their personal life in their novels. And then to deal with the concept of feminist psychology, the exposition of the woman's personality as a feminist within the main characters of women in both novels. The study ends with summarized conclusions of some similarities and differences of their literary treatment of the social and psychological effects on the woman's behavior involving some citations and extracts.
