المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على مراحل تطور الفكر الإداري وانعكاساته على الإشراف التربوي وذلك من خلال تتبع تطور نظريات الإدارة عبر مراحلها المختلفة والتعرف على خصائص كل مرحلة، وكيف أسهم هذا التطور في تشكيل بنية الإشراف التربوي ليكون على ما هو عليه الآن. كما سعت الدراسة أيضا إلى معرفة خصائص النظرية التي يحتاج إليها الإشراف التربوي الحديث ليفي بمتطلبات المجتمع والتطلعات الطموحة لرؤية 2030. تناولت الدراسة مراحل تطور الفكر الإداري بدءا برواد المدرسة الكلاسيكية (فريدريك تايلور وهنري فايول وماكس فايبر) ومروراً بالمدرسة الإنسانية وما توصل إليه إلتون مايو وماري فوليت. وتناولت الدراسة الفكر الإداري لدى علماء نظرية الإدارة كعملية اجتماعية (جيتزلز وجوبا وتاكلوت بارسونز) وختمت الدراسة الحالية مراحل تطور الفكر الإداري بنظرية "Z"، كما عرضت أيضا خصائص النظرية التي يحتاج إليها الأشراف التربوي. وختاماً، خلصت الدراسة إلى بعض النتائج التي قد تسهم في الرقي بالممارسات الإدارية في الميدان التربوي.

The current study aims to identify the stages of development of administrative thought and its reflections on educational supervision by tracking the development of management theories across its various stages and identifying the characteristics of each stage, and how this development contributed to the formation of the structure of educational supervision of what it is now. The study also sought to learn the features of the theory that modern educational supervision needs to meet the requirements of society and ambitious aspirations of Vision 2030. The study examined the stages of development of administrative thought, starting with the pioneers of the classical school (Frederick Taylor, Henri Fayol and Max Weber) and through the Humanitarian School and the findings of Elton May and Mary Follett. The study dealt with the management thought of the scientists of management theory as a social process (Getzels, Juba and Talcott Parsons). The current study concluded the stages of development of administrative thought with the “Z” theory. It also presented the characteristics of the theory needed by educational supervising. Finally, the study reached some findings that might contribute to the improvement of management practices in the educational field.
