المستخلص: سعت هذه الدراسة إلى بيان مفهوم مهارات التفكير، وتوضيح دور بعضها في فهم السنة النبوية وتوجيهها، وبينت الدراسة كيفية تنمية مهارات التفكير وإعمال العقل في خدمة السنة النبوية وفهمها، وذلك من خلال بيان استخدام النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام لبعض هذه المهارات، ومعرفة مراد النبي صل الله عليه وسلم من استخدامها. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الاستقرائي- الاستنباطي، الذي يقوم على دراسة المسألة، واستقراء النصوص المتعلقة بها، ومن ثم استخدم المنهج التحليلي وذلك لتحليل وفهم موضوع الدراسة: واستخلاص نتائجها وبينت الدراسة: أن المهارة عبارة عن تصور ذهني يهدف إلى جمع وحفظ وتحليل وتقييم المعلومات للوصول إلى نتائج معينة، وأن النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام قد استخدم في سننه القولية والفعلية العديد من المهارات مثل مهارة الأصالة، ومهارة الطلاقة، ومهارة الوصف، ومهارة تحمل المسؤولية، ومهارة استغلال الوقت، ومهارة التصنيف، ومهارة المرونة، ومهارة الاستنتاج، ومهارة حل المشكلات وغيرها من المهارات. هذا وتوصي الدراسة المهتمين بعلوم السنة النبوية المطهرة بشكل عام، والباحثين وطلبه الدراسات الإسلامية بشكل خاص، بضرورة دراسة هذا الموضوع، بتوسع أكثر واستدراك ما فات هذا البحث من مهارات التفكير الارتقائي التي تسهم في فهم السنة النبوية فهما سليما معاصرا، نظرا لما يستجد من وقائع وحوادث جديدة معاصرة في هذا الزمان المتطور من كافة الجوانب، وحاجة طلبه العلم الشرعي لتوظيف مهارات التفكير الارتقائي في فهم السنة النبوية بأسلوب معاصر.

This study aims to explain the concept of progressive thinking skills. It also shows how some of the progressive thinking skills could be implemented to understand the Honorable Prophet Traditions (Sunnah). Moreover, the study explains how to improve thinking skills to help us gain a deeper understanding of the Honorable Prophet Traditions (Sunnah). It also provides the reader with examples from Prophet Mohammed’s ,peace be upun him, biography which illustrates how he implemented progressive thinking skills and the intended meaning behind the use of Prophet Mohammed of these skills. The researcher applied a deductive and inductive approaches to achieve the purpose of this study. These approaches investigate the issue in depth and extrapolate all the relevant Islamic texts. Then, it analyzes and understands the subject in details and finally it presents the findings of the study. The study shows that a skill is a mental concept that aims to collect, retain, analyze and evaluate all information in order to reach a specific conclusion. Based on the biography of Prophet Mohammed, it is evident that his actions and words involve the use of many of progressive thinking skills such as skills of time management, thinking authenticity, thinking flexibility, thinking fluency, classification skills, showing responsibility, problem solving skills .. etc The study recommends those who are interested in the sciences of the Honorable Prophet Traditions (Sunnah) in general, and scholars of Sunnah in specific, to pay attention to the importance of this topic, and ask for more research to be held on this issue to fill the research gap in this area. The study emphasizes the importance of progressive thinking skills to gain contemporary understanding of the Honorable Prophet Traditions (Sunnah) since the world changes rapidly and Islamic sciences are in urgent need to employ the skills of progressive thinking to gain a contemporary understanding of the Honorable Prophet Traditions (Sunnah).
