المستخلص: This research deals with the study and investigation of “Al-Nujum al-zzahirah fi wulat alqahirah” by Badr al-Din al-Manhaji, a Moroccan scholar who lived in Egypt during the 10th AH / 16th century AD. I have made it into two main sections: The first was devoted to the biography of al-Manhaji, followed by a brief introduction on the employment of poetry in the recording of historical events. I observed the poems penned about the governors, princes, caliphs and judges before and after al-Manhaji. I mentioned the agreement and differences between them. I introduced the “Urjuzah” and described it, and showed my way of editing, and attached some pictures of the manuscript. In the second section: I edited manuscript according to the modern scientific standard of scholars of this field, taking the agreed steps.
